I'm going to take a survey this time. You can answer all or any of these questions:

1) Are you male/female?
2) Your age?
3) How long have you been married?
4) Are you happily or unhappily married?
5) If you are happily married, what is your secret to a successful marriage?
6) If you are unhappily married, what is it in your marriage that needs work?

Because most of the questions here have to deal with troubled marriages. Anybody in here happily married? If so, explain how you make your marriage work.

....When you are married?

This fast pace world of visual and audio as well as capitalist materialism has changed the human focus on marriage. I think that we are now marrying for what we can get out of marriage and not what we can add to it. We certainly are not marrying for procreation because for many of us, we can do that as singles. We are not marrying for love because often love withers on the vine. We are not marrying to grow old with a precious partner because once those good looks are gone then we seek out a newer, sexier model. We will marry for money in a heartbeat and we do love our live-in trophys.

I just dont know! We ahve been together for 6 years, married 4, and I just feel so empty. We have a 2 year old that takes up most of my time. He works full time, and when he gets home he goes straight for the TV or the computer. The olny time he wants to make love is when it's good for him. The only passionate kisses I get anymore are when he's " in the mood". I've tried adding new stuff in the bedroom, but he's not interested. He actually got mad that I bought "toys". I feel like he's not inlove with me anymore, and just stays because I'm a last resort. I've told him tis time and time again, but still there's no change. I need help! I feel so sad.

Thanks for letting me vent, I could use all the advise you all have.

My son is coming up to 9yrs old. I have 3 children in all 2 girls and a boy. My son hasnt been getting on with his mother for over a year. I have talked to his mother and asked her to talk tohim about it. However she hasnt. It has not escalated to the point that for the last 2 months my son has asked to live with me. firslty i though he was just angree at her. However he says he really misses me and wants to live with me. I told him about the implications ie not seeing his mother veryday or his sisters and he would have to change school. But he his determined thats what he wants to do. His mother will not allow this and he his dreadfully uspset. Not help by his mother telling him thats he letting her down and is so ungrateful. My girls seem to be happy at home. But does my son have any rights at 8yrs old to make a decision like that or is there nything i can do. I understand the childs view is now regarded as very important and i feel my wife is psychologically abusing my son.

Well, we are both bossy. So are the kids. So, what is the best advice for me as the stay-at-home-mom who decided to be the stay-at-home mom after agreeing to work full time so is conflicted about being bossed and accepting bossiness......doing what I'm told without any argument is good for my boys to see now because kids learn by example, however, I doubt by the time they are men that there will be any women in the entire universe that happily do what they are told. Advice?

She is a queen of her red hat club and goes out with the girls once a month. I nwver have the money for the things I want and set at home all the time. I am retired and on disibility. My wife has not had to work over part time for years. My wife thinks I should kiss and hug her. But I haven't felt like it since we stop having sex. I don't think I want to leave my wife. What should I do ?

"If a man commits adultery with another man's wife—with the wife of his neighbor—both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death."
Leviticus 20:10

I'm a Roman Catholic and I don't believe in this excerpt from the Holy Bible. I understand that this is a touchy subject, but please refrain outrage from taking over. I believe that, as mature adults, we can discuss this subject. Do you believe or disbelieve Leviticus' offerings?

I have married for 2 months. I'm feeling lost. I think I do not know where I'm going to. I miss my premarriage free life and I want to follow my previous goals.

my husband is looking at porn on our computer if he has the computer set up to clear his history on a daily basis, is there anyway to find this info out.

2006-06-26 18:09:18 · 10 answers · asked by pebbles68701 2

My husband will go to a porn site ( not saying which one) on a regular basis. Sometimes it bothers me when I am home because I wish he would be looking at me in the same way as the women he is looking at online. What really bothers me is when I am at work he will go to that same website for hours on end. Yet when I walk in the door he will delete the history files. I have asked him time and time again not to do this because it makes me feel that he is hiding something. His "excuse" is i was told to delete temporary internet files every time I turn off computer. I feel he is truly hiding something from me. Also there was once a time when we had each other's passwords for our emails. Now he changes his constantly ever since I found an email from a dating site. It wasn't one of the advertisements you sometimes get. He accuses me of being unfaithful yet i am willing to let him see all my online history and passwords. What would your thoughts be???
