Everytime a man look at porn much less masterbate to porn he is deriving sexual pleasure from someone other than his wife. That is something that he should be doing with her and not wasting on only him. This seemlingly common thing can drive wedges into relationships in some very surprising ways.

Women are incredible when it comes to sensing chages in the people around them and especially their husbands. They have that women's intuition thing and it usually even helps them figure out what has caused the change. That means if her husband is no longer sexually frustrated she knows and there is a good chance she knows why. Then come the issues she then faces about not feeling sexy or inadequate as a lover. Some may even feel like eventually the porn will not be satisfying either and he may look elsewhere since he is already looking somewhere other than her.

This leads to her feeling like having less sex or desperately trying to fulfill fantasies she is not naturally comfortable with both of which further degrade her self esteem.

Porn can destroy relationships. It is not faithful, it is not loving and if there is a problem that you are seeking to avoid by turning to porn the problem will only get worse.

Been there, Done that. We are lucky to still have a marriage and I am so glad we do.

Sometimes it has to do with the morals of the person or couple. Some people believe that even just looking at porn is morally wrong, and it just as bad as cheating. Also, If a man is looking at porn and is with a woman (attractive or not) it makes her feel less valued, because he obviously needs to look at something else.

Most people in a relationship these days are likely to have encountered a failed relationship because either party has not been trustworthy. They want to make sure that it doesn't happen again. That's what makes them pessimists and that's what takes away the trust. Without trust, it's simply going to be like you said it, a career in PI.

I think for women one of the questions we ask ourselves is why do our husbands need to look at porn. I mean, aren't us real women good enough for you guys?

One reason might be that it makes us women feel cheap...expecially if the only time our husband wants to touch us is after they've gotten their eyes full of other women
