I never understood that myself. I guess women are naturally suspicious of divorced men.
My sister and brother-in-law divorced, It was all her fault and get this,,, SHE pays the child support!!!!! (she got what she deserved).
Anyway, there are women out there who understand that it isn't always the guy's fault, be patient. Besides if the first thing a woman says is "What did you do" then you probably don't want her anyway (too controlling and suspicious).. GOOD LUCK!

You must be a guy. I have known many men who got divorced that people considered it the womans fault. She was fooling aroung most of the time. I got a divorce, and when filed went for no fault. I had my own home and all in it before got married. Judge asked EX if he thought it fair I asked for it all. The one decent thing he did was tell the judge he did not pay for it, so it was all mine, and he did not want any of it. We had prenup, but judge said he would throw it out if he wanted the house. I was sweating, but he did right. Sometimes you can not place a blame on divorce, people just do not get along.

very blind sided I think. Most women I know are the ones at fault. When they can't have things there own way they cause trouble & split.. Pretty strange coming from me huh, since I'm a woman but I just go by what I know & see. Don't pay any attention to these women saying that. Truth be known, they have a guilty conscience about something. Hang in there my friend & don't let em get to ya cause women like to do that too.

Sexist attitude. C the thing is that guys have always been the one who were considered to be strong one the one who will abuse and women were always considered to be poor helpless creatures yeah i know women lib came but for some reason the age old idea still stuck in our mind hence it's always considered to be guys fault .and the other reason could be that 90% of guys do act like jerks when the become husbands so it is there fault.

There are times when it is the man's fault, but i never ask what the man did....I just ask what happened. Unlike in my marriage, the reason for the divorce is my ex had an affair and got the chic pregnant

Because his ex already got the word out about everything he ever did wrong. She will not hesitate to tell people...he did this and he did that and he said this and he said that...
Her girl friends will sympathize with her and be like.....Girl, no! He said that??? I'd of kicked him out to girl, he's just no good. Then they will resort to calling all their friends and telling them....Girl did you just hear what so and so did to his wife? Yeah girl, ain't that a crock? I always knew he was no good and I questioned everything about him from the get-go. I always thought he looked a bit suspicious to me. Girl, you thought the same thing too??

By that time everyone knows and the poor man doesn't have a chance.

B/c they women you are speaking of are generalizing due to what they hear or what they have experienced. We all know there are 2 sides to every story.
