Don't we all at some point? Is that wrong towards our spouse? It seems somewhat mean and selfish. But we should think about our relationships and see if we are happy, our spouse is happy and if not - what we can do to change it. And sometimes it means to break up and start anew with somebody else. What's the point of being miserable? Communicating those feelings is important. The other person might not even be aware of your feelings, though. I truly hope that people don't just give up on the spur of the moment but put every possible effort into their commitment. I feel for you, though. It's hard to have those feelings and not quire know what to do about them.

The grass always looks greener on the other side until you get there. Be thankful for who you have. Spouses are not shoes that you replace when you have worn them enough. There must be a reason that you vowed to love the person that you are with. Remember what it was and try to ignite those feelings again. As long as you have one foot out the door, you will never be satisfied where you are.

I am recently divorced but I thought I could have found someone better almost immediately following the ceremony. I think I can now, I am just not ready for a new relationship.

But sometimes I think that if I couldn't make that marriage work, what makes me think that I can make another one work?

I did think of that once, or twice. But, the Christian part of me is against divorce. So I prayed about it. Lot's of things have changed in 16 years of marriage. I am so glad that I didn't leave him. My life wouldn't be the same anywhere else.. GOOD LUCK TO YOU!

I hate to answer with a "yes" but boy do I feel like it right now. Of course, even if I tried to move on, I'd be afraid that it's me screwing up, not him.

Although I have always said, I should have married rich! I think I'd be a lot happier right about now!
