Fantasy with an imaginary person or or you are the imaginary person...not yourself?

Some people would say yes, fantasizing is being unfaithful. This is reflected in some religions' forbidding thoughts about other people.

Some people would say that fantasy contributes to having a good sex life with your partner. It can spice things up without your ever intending to cheat on your partner; you can remain faithful that way.

Now, I guess the important thing is, what do YOU think?

I don't think soooo... just don't let it get carried away. You can't help it if you had a dream or a quick thought about someone, but if you start indulging this by allowing yourself to think more and more about it, it may cause you to pull away from your partner.

The problem with fantasies are that in your fantasy everything is perfect. Your fantasy partner has no real flaws. In real life though that's not the case.

Don't beat yourself up for it, but try and find some new ways to spice up your marriage.

This is a prime example of how organised religon A) gets the message of spirituality completely wrong and B) screws with people in such a way that induces guilt for having entirely natural feelings and thoughts.

People rightly complain about islamo-fascism, but this kind of christio-fascism is just as bad.

If you fantasise about other people, that is entirely natural and good.

Fantasies are cheating ONLY when the fantasy becomes real, whether your dating or married.

Dang it, if that is the case, then MOST of us are CHEATERS. None of you can tell me that you have NEVER role played something in your head about someone else other than the person you are with! Get real! We are humans and were given the ability to do this. As long as you don't act on it, things are OK.

NO not at all there is nothing wrong with it at all. it is only cheating when you actually do things with a real person . fantasies can be
fun even when you share them with your partner.

It is a sin, but not really cheating. Incorporate your fantasy in real life with yor husband.

NO!!!

EVERYONE has fantasies. That's normal.
It can also help in your love life at times.

Sometimes you wish for something new and just fantasizing about it can make you feel better. Similar to dancing.

Just don't tell your partner. OUCH!!!
I'm sure HE has a few of his own.

i'd have to say no! Fantasy is fantasy. Reality is reality. As long as your fantasy doesn't become a reality then it's not cheating.

I guess how far they take this fantasy. Imagination is one thing but if it turns into an obsession, well then it can cause problems.
