Folks - no it is NOT ok to cheat. Stop LOOKING for signs that the marriage won't work.

Is there anyone out there that TRIES TO MAINTAIN A GOOD MARRIAGE? Do you think it is a one-way street? Marriage is HARD! Especially when you keep doubting yourself! Grow up, people!!! Deal with it, and be happy!

Marriage in america is historically a religious event. However, the government has stepped in and created a contractual marriage. If we take the religious principals, morals and ideas out of our ideas of marriage, what is the basis to prevent two men or two women from entering into a marriage contract?

I was with this guy for 2 weeks and then he asked me to marry him on mothers day. I was skeptical at first because he did cheat on me 2 days after we started dating but i believe in 2nd chances so i gave him one. I knew something was up when after we split because i caught him cheating again when his myspace still said in a relationship. I know now that he married one of the girls he was cheating on me with jsut 4 days after we broke up. If any one knows how i can get revenge back on him for making me live a month of lies please let me know. Thank you.

Does a mother who had her children removed by childrens welfare deserve to have a second chance.
She has been accused of punching her 11 year old daughter in the face, leaving her 11,6 and 7 year old home alone from 9:00pm till 11:00 am, while she spends the night with friends, and reports from the neighbors that the children where seen riding bikes through major intersections with no adult supervision and no helmets.
I must add that this is not me, but my b/f's ex, she was to seek a parenting course and seek counselling, she did take a parenting course and recieved counselling for abuse as she says that my b/f assulted her several times, but they haven't been seeing each other in over 2 years and we have been together for 1 and he has never even as much said a nasty word to me (an attempt to the courts to refer blame) thekids have been placed with dad for almost a year and there is talk that she may get the children back, what is your opinion and has anyone ever been in these shoes?

I just found out with my own eyes that my husband sees porn at work. I was scrolling through his history list to find my son his Hotwheels site and ran into about 7 sites he's gone to. I don't know how to confront him. I feel betrayed and don't even feel like being with him anymore. I thought we had a wonderful relationship, after 5 years of marriage we're still very sexually active, he makes me laugh everyday and he's a good father. I thought our marriage was perfect. I never felt self conscious before, people say I'm beautiful and have a nice body. Sure, I've had a baby so my body isn't how it used to be but it's not horrible...he even says I have a nice body! I'm so confused! I don't even wish to undress in front of him anymore! Please don't be rude when answering, I'm very hurt and shocked. Thank you....

My parents have been divorced for 2-3 years now, but my mother just wont move out! My father received the house in the divorce-she got another home that is out of the country. I live on my own and visit on the weekends, my little bro n sis live at home (18 and 19 respectively). Sorry, but no one likes her. We avoid her at all costs and she spends most of her day in her room watching tv. My father sleeps on the couch-which is a disaster btw. My question is-should i get involved somehow? I would love nothing more than to get a lawyer and kick her out. She is currently violating the terms in the divorce-she was supposed to move out. My father isn't doing anything about it, and I doubt he would get a lawyer now (he represented himself) just to get her out of the house. We are all BEGGING him to kick her out (by we I mean all the children). Please give me your feedback. She's not a nice person.

my mom didn't even tell me, my brother and sister wen she married him and they were never engaged; it was just a spur of the moment thing. They lived together for 6 months before they got married. He is very mean to my brother (physically) and has tremendosly hurt me and my sister emotionally. he had turned my mother into a huge hipocrit and they cuss all the time. she was the perfect mother before she married him. what can i do to try to make things better (support groups, someone to talk to, etc.)??

The abuse just took a big turn for the worse. Right now I don't have any friends or family to go to, both cars are in my H's name, and I just lost my job. To make things worse, my ex-husband heard a rumor that my H is abusive and is suing for custody of my son. If I had a job and a car I would be gone in 2 seconds. If I go to a shelter I'm worried it will show me as unstable in the lawsuit for custody. I live in Salt Lake. I'm applying for executive secretary jobs like crazy (I have over 5 years experience). Anyone have any other ideas? I'm scared to stay, but I'm terrified to leave with my child with no way of supporting him. I need help and I feel like all I'm finding are dead ends. I would love to find a room mate and a cheap car. I do have a 401K check of about 2000 coming in.... but I want to know I have more money coming in before I head out. Am I doing the wrong thing? Please help me!
