Folks - no it is NOT ok to cheat. Stop LOOKING for signs that the marriage won't work.
Is there anyone out there that TRIES TO MAINTAIN A GOOD MARRIAGE? Do you think it is a one-way street? Marriage is HARD! Especially when you keep doubting yourself! Grow up, people!!! Deal with it, and be happy!

jackass - what gives you the impression that I have problems in my marriage? Are you that dumb? I am outraged by the lack of effort people bring to marriage, you jerkoff. You have also strengthened my position on ignorance in this hopeless arena of morons.

I'm ASTOUNDED and disgusted as well. I see so many people younger than me that are already divorced, and I'm only 23. Just trying to maintain a healthy friendship with someone is hard. I'm in a good relationship but I want to wait to get married. I think I'm too young and both of us already have young children from past relationships so the statistics are set against us. And I get so mad when I read Cosmo or Maxim and question whether fidelity is a thing of the past. I could never cheat on my boyfriend and he would never cheat on me.
When I get married I do not want to get a divorce. Ever. Especially not in the first five years just because I'm too young and stupid to make a marriage work. Love is not everything. It takes more than love to make a good strong marriage.

After 12 years of a somewhat bad marriage I have found how to be happy. You are so right, it takes allot of hard work and it is not easy but for the work it takes, it is the best reward I could ever get. Some people are looking for a magic solution. Just be kind and think of the other person for once and you will be amazed at the results.

You have a very good point. There seems to be alot of people that are married and cheating or on the verge of cheating.
My husband and I both work together on our relationship. We make time for each other and do the little things for each other that mean so much.

Sure - if you aren't living in a loveless marriage or something horrible. You are looking at things in black and white - open your eyes. There's more to marriage issues than the fact that marriage is "work" --- we ALL know that ....but sometimes things can go horribly wrong.

Maybe you should look into your own marriage and your happiness. Just because your unhappy and choose not to cheat, don't condemn someone that does. What's that saying about throwing rocks if you live in a glass house?

I agree with you. Am also equally astounded at the pitiful spelling I see on this site - didn't anyone take grammar and spelling seriously in school?

no where are we so desperately needed!!!!!!!!!!
the fact that the vast majority of these people reach out for answers is a good sign to me... you can skip all the blather and assinine questions and find some good ones here for sure... as for the grammer... hey.. we live with bad drivers, bad manners etc. etc...
