Our lunch table is very diverse at lunch. We have all sorts of races and it's great. However, last week the hispanic boy that eats with us, Juan, asked me if i had ever been "beaten" and i said no. he then continued to say "so you've never been drug into a dressing room a the mall and beaten with a shoe or a hanger?" and i was like "wtf no." and he said, "well that's just because your a spoiled little white girl."

when i was little my parents spanked me - actually my mom did. my dad - however- never spanked me but he would scream at me and call me "hopeless" and a "dissappointment" and then go days without talking to me. growing up i was in fear of my dad because personally to me that was worse than being spanked.

juan has no idea what he is talking about and i personally think it is offense to lable me with that silly stereotype of "white" kids growing up without getting "beaten" or a "whoopin."

personally, this was offenseive to me. what do you think???

I have a wonderful best friend. We met in the Army close to 10 years ago and we have never grew apart even with geographical seperation. I can always depend on her to be there for good and bad times. Thank you Trace. I Love you.

Here's the scenario -

Last night i went to the cinema to watch Superbad with my friend. During the trailors i saw this girl i know come in with a guy.

As the film went on they were getting intimate, kissing and all over each other.

The problem is this girl i know has been going out with a friend of mine for over 4 years. Hes gone to Uni and shes obviously taking advantage while he is gone.

I left quickly at the end of the film so she wouldnt see me. I called my friend up later on and he told me that the long distance relationship is going well with her and shes seeing him this weekend.

What should i do? I cant help but feel useless!

It is so annoying! A couple of my roommates and friends always ask me when am I going to get a boyfriend, or they would make a comment (in a negative tone of voice) saying that I need a boyfriend. They repeat the question everytime they see me, and it is so annoying. I am not in a rush, why do they not understand that? People have approached me telling me that I should model, so attracting a guy is not hard for me, but I just don't understand what is up with these people? They make me look bad by saying that I am single! I don't understand.

Okay well my older brother is dating my best friend. and i my mom hates it. so i dont wanna it to ruin my friendship w/ my best friend. i think they should hide it. but they dont want too. they really do love each other. and i know they do. they wanna be able to be open w/ it in the family. like we can all go on family trips together w/ my other brother is girlfriend and me and my boyfriend. and my mom and dad.so he dont wanna hide. but my brother is a momma boy. and stuff. so he cant lie.but my mom is all mad when my best friend comes over and dont wnat her over all the time. but my mom loves her. till her and my brother fell in love.

The last month or so, my 'bestfriend' who ive been bestfriends with for the past 6 years has been getting so ugh.
if i post a bulletin on myspace or something saying im upset or mad or not in a good mood or something she finds a way to make my life even worse!! Even if shes not intentionally doing it! Like okay im like overly stressed and i posted a bulletin about it and i cursed a few times and explained people only to hit me up to cheer me up. So then like 5 minutes later i get a aim from her saying "You curse too much and its not too cute boo". I know it seems stupid but that just ticked me off! and last week i had a bad day and she kept being sooooo obnoxious and random on aim omgg and she was definately purposely doing it! And then when i try to say something about it she gets overly self defencive! help please :]

Oh, the friend/enemy(you like "something" about them but you also wouldn't mind if they would leave the country permanently).

I see they have called but don't answer the phone half the time.
At work, I make myself too busy to chat.

This guy is in my class and also works with me outside of school. He is quite nice to me and will usually talk to me frequently. But the problem is I like him (more than a friend) and a back stabber has told him. ( i dont think he believed her).

As we're moving into grade ten shortly our classes together will mostly be none as he wants to do a trade and I a science.

He has been injured yesterday being sent to hospital. Id like to make decent friends with him before the end of the year. How do I go about this?

These days at my school, everyone's all depressed and they say they're going to commit suicide and they put this on their facebooks and profiles and then they come to school the next day with bandages on their arms and when people ask about them, they just say they don't want to talk about it. And then later, they're complaining about how nobody cares about them and how their heartbroken. Just recently, my parents got a divorce and my mom's been trying really hard to get a job and I told my friends this and they felt sorry at the moment and then a day later, they're complaining about how their boyfriends broke up with them(again) and I think they've already forgotten whats going on with me. I need someone to talk to. What should i do? thanks if you're actually reading this.

okay, so im friends with this guy. I guess you could say we're turning into more of friends with benefits..because we like each other. I have no idea how anyone would know this, but he was going to come over to my house and hang out or w/e. i didnt tell ANYONE that, but like a few days later jon said like 10 ppl came up to him and asked "are you going to screw sam" and he was like no, thats not true?? Ok my phys. ed instructor in college is kinda mean to me I would say. I play racquetball and there are 4 ppl in my class including me and I am the only girl. Anyways, he will ONLY tell me and whoever the person I am playing, that whoever loses the game has to give him pushups. Well he never tells the the other 2 guys in the class that. He is always on my butt about stuff and says I am being lazy about how I play.Yesterday, he was playing a guy and so I watched to get some tips, and he came out of the court and said he didnt call time out and I needed to go play my classmate, but the guy he was playing TOLD me to come watch. I dont know.. he just always picks on me and some ppl say he treats me like that becuz he might have a little crush on me. I cant really tell though..he just says stuff to me and will sometimes smile afterwards..like when he told me I owed him some pushups if I lost the game. Oh yea I asked him why he always picks on me and he someone has to keep me in line.

Hi, have a bit of confusing story right now. I feel silly asking about this because it never happens to me. But I am curious so tell me what you think: There is a boy in my World History Honors class. This kid needs riddilin, badly! He is always bouncing off the walls. He can be very disgusting sometimes too, but in the realm of things he is pretty cool person and smart. I use to kinda like him but he showed me very immature behavior and it turned me off. Well he likes to brag latley about his "girl friend." This girl is my also my biology partner. She is a cheerleader and is the total opposite of this boy.
So today he told me how they were talking and I got brought up, he said I was his best friend and how we have everything in common(VERY true, might as well be my twin.) So he said her reply was: You should ask her out. His reply: I can't I am dating you.

Is it just me or does that not make sense. Why would you tell your boyfriend to date another girl? Was he trying to hint?

I have been lately feeling depressed and lonely. I sort of ditched my friend for these other girls, they're more interesting, less annoying. But lately, they've been almost ditching me, cutting me out from the group, and when i went to hang with my acquaintances they seem like they dont want me there either...
