ok! we jost started our first year of hs and my friend has gotten engaged! i suppose i approve of the guy but the subject makes me cry a lot! shes one of those people that will make you cry with one look at them ! lets just say she has had a lot of bfs and i dont want her to get hurt either but ever since that fateful day she has been distant! she has faced scrutiny from her peers and mine for that matter and im worried! shje cried so much over that guy last year and now she cries when hes gone for more than a couple of hours! i dont know if im jealous or what!?! bt this is ridiculous ! i need help cuz i love her but i also want her to be safe and happy

I have been really good friends with her. We talk all the time and are pretty close. Sometimes i feel like asking her sexual question, about masturbation and virginity.. Kinda getting dirty with her.. I personally think she would like it just as much as me, because sometimes when we talk you can kinda see it... Two of my best friends have told me that they like me. I told them that I just want them as friends, because I don't feel that way about them. One of them has tried to be just a friend, and is doing it well, but the other keeps bringing the topic up and asking me why I don't want him as more tham a friend. He acts differently towards me to. I'm worried that our friendship might be in jeapordy. Please help!

How old were you when you started wearing thongs?

I'm 13 and my mom thinks I'm way to young. And my brother says I'm a Sl*t.
I don't see the issue wiht it.

I've been friends with this girl for about 6 months now and we're really close but recently she's been getting on my nerves! We don't hang out everyday but when we do she can't help but to say things about herself...she also changes the subject sometimes and turns it around into something about her. Her MySpace page is cluttered with pictures of herself and so is her background picture on her cell phone. It's just kind of weird, in my opinion, and really gets under my skin when it happens on more than one occasion. I recently introduced her to a friend of mine and now she's always rubbing in my face, "Oh me and so and so are going out tonight!". I don't know what's up with her...she wasn't like this when I met her. What's going on? How should I deal with this?

4 years ago, my cousin dated and got very involved with a very good friend of the family. My brothers best friend. The two of them are very adventurous and risk taking people. Over time, they got involved with heroin and lost touch with family/friends. After 2 years of substance abuse, she got pregnant, and he got caught and went to prison for a year and a half. When he got out, their child was 6 months old. Now they have an apartment (I helped her with $400.00 to get in/ she would have been on the streets). Well now he has been out for about 8 months. I went to visit them and at that time 3 dif. people came for WEED. They have too much traffic in/out plus she thinks he is using again. How can I tell her that he needs to get a real job & even though he is on parole it is still possible for him. SellingWEED will not help get them ahead. She will not leave him. How can I tell her without making me look like "the perfect" cousin that they have probably always though I was

Back in feb I decided I needed to end a friendship of over 10 years. The circumstances surrounding that event are very complicated and would take too long to explain. But basically I felt like I was being used and that a friendship that brings so much drama and turmoil to your life just isn't worth it. The problem is that she has some rather expensive items that belong to me and my husband. These are things we loaned her or didn't have room for at our place and shared with her. For months my husband has been in touch with her and her husband and they have been giving excuse after excuse as to why we can't have these items back. It's really ridiculous that they are trying to keep things that never belonged to them out of spite. Is there any way we can get them back? Or do we just hope that what goes around comes around? By the way, we're neighbors. Add insult to injury!

hi! i know you have heard of the quote "time can heal all wounds" but somehow i dont know why it wont apply to me. i mean i have the same fear i have since high school and up til now i am still in it. 10 years past. could you give suggestion on how to get over it? helpful suggestions pls?
Another of my issue is trust. Why is it easier to trust a new person that you meet in your life than confide to the one who knows you, for, say a year or so... Like when you get to know a person intimately... thats when the time you cant share what you feel inside because you fear that how they treat you might change? is this always the case?
how do you trust someone again after you've lost the trust in them because they dont or dont want to have communications with you?

The problem is with my friend..We're in the same class and she thinks she 'loves' a boy in our class.She says 'he is soo sweet, oh I love him so much, I don't know what to do, he drives me crazy, (on Friday) I will miss him so much at the weekend...' As u see, she only liked his appearence.

The worst part of it, that boy doesn't care about Elif and won't, I think..But I can't tell this to my friend coz I'm sure she will be so sad..

The other day one of my sisters guy friends was over and I didn't know. I came out the bathroom in only a towel. He snuck up and yanked it off me. He then chased me around a bit before I got away. I have a 16-year old with ADHD that does not have friends. It has been this way forever. He may have a friend for a few weeks and then all of a suddent they are ********. Mine is finding new friends in my new environment. So nerve wrecking, i've spent like 3 weekends at home. I haven't got any connections here, and friends. My parents told me to just get involve in organizations, But how? where? what organization. I mean it's so much easier said than done!
