Would you lie to get something you really wanted or needed, or would you take the loss and tell the truth?

want and need are different if i wanted something i would not lie through my teeth if i need something to survive or help a friend or family member then i would lie through my teeth.

Personally I would take my lumps and tell the truth. Eventually the lie would be found out or I would feel so guilty about trying to be deceitful and would end up telling the truth eventually, so why lie in the first place.

I wouldn't lie through my teeth to get what i wanted. I would lie through my teeth to get something that i really need. Need and want are two different things.

i wouldnt lie. i've had people do that to me lie and lie. and make me believe they are something that their not. and as soon as they get what they want the throw me away it hurts. so no. i know how much it hurts and how much trouble it costs so no i would just tell the truth

I would tell the truth because when you lie you have to keep lying and then if you forget what you have said your in a pickle. plus lying never gets you any where really

I would definately tell the truth. At that point you may not get what you want, but you still have your dignity and you still know that you have been honest. Later down the road you may get just what you want. LIfe has a way of praising you for your honesty.
