My friends moved on.?

hi well i recently started a new highschool i am a frshman and i went to this school where i knew no1 and i am trying to balance my old friends while trying to make new ones, but it seems my bestfriends just dont care anymore and i kinda miss my school where i grew up with every1 i dont know what to do i know in the long run this new school will be better i just dont know how to deal with the way i am feeling now. any help?

the same thing happened to me
n the best that i can suggest is that don't run after those who don't care for u / who forgot u
just move on cuz life never stops
it would hert n would definitely take time
but trust me it would work
n u won't regret ur decision afterwards

I went through all that when my family moved to a completely different school district in a small suburban town before I began my junior year. We got bused to a school 45 minutes away because we were on the wrong side of the freeway.

I found people with similar interests to hang out with. I dated. I took advanced courses. I did what I could to get through it all.
In the school I was sent to, the core group of "popular kids" had all been together since elementary school, while just about everyone else was "new" to the area. The newer ones were fodder for all sorts of oddball rumors.

I suggest hanging back a bit and getting the feel for the dynamics out there. Keep your ears open. Be congenial, but guarded. Don't give anyone any information you don't want repeated...or find a way to use the grapevine for your own purposes.
Actually, this is a good time to reinvent yourself. Create a new identity for yourself.

Dude that the same thing that's happening to me I'm a freshman too but I made all new friends if your old friends don't care about you than you should't waste your time thinking about them your in a new school that is really hard man I'm just making friends and socialzing so it will take some time
