I have a 9 year old daughter...Im a workaholic big time and havent had any time this year to really spend with her, during the day I sleep and she goes to school but when she gets back I head off to work a 12-hour shift. I feel guilty because I don't know what she's into or likes...please I'm open to suggestions from anyone...I just need a big long list of things and I'll do the pickin...thank you

My childrens 14 year old friend is facing being placed into care due to a family crisis. We have known her all of her life and she spends most weekends/evenings at our house, and so my wife and i would be happy for her to come and live with us permanently, does anyone know if we would have to adopt or foster or could she just move in? All parties are more than happy with this happening, just wondering if any one could give some advice

my brother is older then i am..im 17 in high school and he's past college. however, whenever im in my room he always checks up on me for some reason. THerefore, i tried this test. I pretended to sleep on my bed when he came in, but then he checked my blinking and eveyrhing. When that was over, he started to touch me. u know..THAT kind touching. is tis a way a 25 year old should act?

Okay We Live in a Very cheap studio thats two rooms and a VERY SMALL kitchen, my mom and dad sleep in their room with the baby. wich they barley fit in and i sleep with my sister (she is 3 months older than me) we are both 13, iv noticed that My sisters has recently been sleeping with her underwear (Bra and Panties only) while we sleep and keeps turning to my side. I mean normally I wouldnt mInd cuz the heater is NEVER EVER on cuz we are cheap and she wore WARM pijamas , i would enjoy being extra warm. But feeling her skin just gives me shivers,..... (She ussually just wears her under wear to bed in the summer But i usually slepped in an uppside down T, (her feet were by my chest) but now her bodie keeps rubbing me, like seriously i feel shivers on my spine.......

Its not even that long...its just a fairly nice trimmed beard but she said she doesn't like facial hair and if I don't shave, she will leave me. I don't know if she is kidding or not, but I like this new beard I have. What should I do? Isn't she in the wrong for wanting me to shave?

when my hubby and I were just dating, she cought us naked in bed, watching a "skin flick". she lectured him about it later (it's not right, you're a christian, etc etc), and now of course, we're married, but EVERY time i see her, i releived the moment when she walked in on us and saw what we were watching.

any ideas on how i can get past this?
it's been 3 years since then. 3 or 4 maybe even

I got thyroid problems when I was 18 years old, this illness is very debilitating and physically painful, I was just starting my live and was really scared and sad.
I needed a lot of love and support from my family, unfortunatelly my mom was told I was clinically depressed, I know I am not mentally ill, I had the nomal discouragement that comes from suffering and ongoing illness for years and years.
Ive tried to talk to mom but doesnt understand, she thinks the doctor opinions have more weight than mine.
Her treatment is offensive.
What do I do? I want to cut of the relationship with her cause it hurst but it hurts not to have a realtionship with her at the same time cause I want a mom.

I have a step son that lives with my husband and I , The step son does not want to work and the father is to scared to put is foot down , so the other day i did it and got in trouble , i was told to stay out of his business .He is also on probation for drugs and concealed weapon charges . while he was in jail he wrote his dad and told him that he wanted their old relationship back and he wanted to get away from the drug. Well to find out from his mom hehad been calling around trying to find out where he could get some drugs. and the other day the probation dept. came and found him with some prescriptions meds laying on the couch where he was taking a nap . I do not know what to do the father is so very protective and gets mean when anyone says anything about him , some of the neibors have turned my step son in for waving a gun around outside of the house, and they will not admit it to my husband ,i really do not know how my step son can be around guns being on probation.

She was shot by her boyfriend( he is still in jail awaiting trial it has been continued 6 times) at 12:37am and died around 1:07 am she is now an angel looking out for those of us left behind who miss her it is hard to believe taht 1 year ago all was good in our world went to sleep to awaken 6 hours later with our world shattered God Bless you all and may you have peace and joy in your heart to day and always

I know i am not adopted because my mom has a video of me being born (gross but whatever) and i look a bit like my dad, but how come i look almost just like my grandad from my dad's side. Im greek and my dad is more of a darker skin color and my mom a white but my grandad has a light cream honey skin which i have, and we both have blonde hair but my mom and dad have dark brown. Also i have two other siblings and i am the only one with light skin. Is it rare?

I am not having alot of money to spend on other people besides my husband and my son and i am needing to find something to buy my mother-in-law, father-in-law and their youngest son (husband's brother)

I was thinking of getting some sort of basket and putting candy and fruit in it so do you think that would be good enough for them?
Would you like some to buy you fruit, nuts and candy for christmas? Would you apprciate it?

I am just wondering cause i need a 3in 1 gift and i think that would be alright...what do you think?

The other day my mother-in-law and her nephew came to our house while we were at work to pick up some furniture. While she was there she allowed her nephew to take a movie of ours without asking us first. Though yes it is just a movie I felt my space had gotten invaded by her just taking it without asking. We would have said yes anyway but to me it was the principle of the thing. Well I happened to call her and in a very calm manner explained to her how I felt, that I didn't want to argue and that I loved her but I felt this was an invasion of privacy. She got highly offended (as she always does if anyone says anything negative towards her) and started to raise her voice. I simply told her that I just thought she needed to know how I felt. After all, she has done things like this in the past without asking but I never said anything. To me this was the last straw and something needed to be said. My husband agreed with me and told her she shouldn't have taken the movie. Was I wrong?
