My sister never eats her food, and when my mom tells her to eat it all, she goes to my dad and he says to throw it away. I don't know what to do about her problem! She only eats snaks, and that's also what causes my parents fight. Please tell me how I can get my sister to eat, that way mom and dad won't fight so much!!

My wife and I live a comfortable life, we don't have any money problems because we live in our means and splurge only on special occassions.

We are in our mid 30's and will have our house and cars paid off in less than a year due to hard work and MANY extra payments.

We would like a bigger house, a newer car, etc. but we know we we need to be happy with what we have instead. So we save our money for a future child and prepaid vacations that will give us memories.

Its really hard to be happy with what you have, and it seems like many people think buying a bunch of stuff will make them happier.

My friends had a nice house, but had to sell it to buy a bigger one that costs twice as much. They are still not happy with their house and now they are in major debt with all their equity loans.

Why do so many people have so much stuff, like cars, expensive houses, gadgets, clothes, etc. when it doesn't make them feel better about their lives?

Why are we like this?

My mother makes me drive, and I dont like to at all. Ive talked with my phyciatrst and she says its understandable and to talk to my mom. Hoping that she would understand and not make me drive as often. I have no need to drive at my age right now. Is there any way I can get my mother to not let me drive?

Do they treat them any different from before they moved out in the first place? Are their relationships anywhere changed? Perhaps some might be nicer to their kids. or are they a little more enforcing?

My Grandpa passed away about a week and a half ago. He and my Grandmother were seperated for like 12 years but they never officially divorced. He isn't my real Grandpa, my Grandma;s first Husband is, but I grew up with him as my Grandpa.

Basically, he wasn't doing well on his own so because he and my Grandmother were still friends, she let him move in with her to help care for him. Now, he has passed away and unfortunately made no arrangements, and left nothing behind except personal items and his car, which we plan to sell for what it's worth, probably around $500, maybe $400.

Basically, my grandmother and I cannot afford to pay all of his funeral expenses, even with the cheapest options i.e; cremation, purchasing a ceramic urn outside of the mortuary. However just for the cremation, and copy of the death certificate, this still totals around $1100! Even if we sell his car for $500, we don't know how we can pay for the remaining $600

I have two girls 17 1/2 months and 10 weeks. I went back to work 3 months after I had my first daughter and she stayed with my mom, now I will be going back to work with my second daughter after about 3 months, they will both be staying with a nanny...who I know and is very nice. But why can't I get over this huge guilt I have? I have more guilt this time than the last...also I am going to be putting in up to 5 days a week. With my last daughter I put in 4 days/wk. I have this huge depressing guilt weighing on my shoulders...please help. I am not good at staying home either, I waste most of my day (if I stay home) on the computer or in front of the tv, although I clean when needed and cook a couple of times a week. I'm afraid of becoming a stay at home mom.

She did it again. Stole some change from me to buy candy, and luckily I got it back. Not that I really need it, it's just getting very annoying because she takes all my things and store's them in her desk. I've talked to her about it and she just pushes me away. Mind you, it's not something the police should get into, she's eight years old. I'm looking for ways to hide thing so that she'll never find them, and that's hard because we have to share a room. Any ideas?

i have the name, phone #,& address,of who i think might have been driving that car, that passed me in the dark.at least,i have that info for where the car was parked, though obviously, the family of that home may have nothing to do w/ this, the car may simply be parked there, in front of the house.i wrote down everything that happened,& the descriptions,& everything, but i don't want to go to the police station,& report it,but blame it on this family,& they have nothing to do w/ it.b/c the cops will be asking for specific questions, what do i tell them?the info that i have right now, or what?i can't help thinking, that next time,if they do see me,it'll be worse---which is probably going to by the time my parents are our their trip out of the country for 11 days.what do i do now? should i wait, or go to the cops, and possibly risk blaming a family that had nothing to do with this, except that this car was parked out in front of thier house?i don't know what to do?i'm scared!

My mother in law borrowed 400.00 way back in August, promising to return it in September. Well, she didnt. I got married in October, and she didnt even give us a card. My hubby has brought it up to her, and she just changes the subject. I am becoming angry with her, she has not even offered a small payment, or apology. What should I do? Confront her, or just let it go, and never loan her money again?

My ex broke up with me about a month ago.

I still think about her a lot, miss her very much, and I end up getting depressed about it.

Should I still be like this and how can I get over it?

He is not into sports, has no favorite TV show, he doesn't read, he doesn't "hang out" with any one. He doesn't like a variety of clothing and doesn't have any hobbies but playing WOW. He doesn't work (yet) and is not interested in driving or cars. He used to skateboard, wrestle and paintball, but he has all of that stuff and doesn't use any of it. He has all of the WOW stuff, already and an ipod with speakers. SOOOOO lost as we have LOTS of ideas for our other 5 kids, but even the other kids are lost as to what to get the 15 year old. Desperately awaiting ANY help!
