I never throught that I would have to raise another child. But I have the opportunity to love and care for the greatest gift God could have ever given me.I love that baby. My blood runs thru her veins.and her blue eyes light up at the sound of my voice and her laughter is the golden music that the angels sing. Yes I raise a granddaughter, and I am truly blessed

My grandparents actually raised me as soon as i was born. My mother had me when she was 18 and still wanted to go to college and be a teenager. My grandparents offered to take legal guardianship over me while my mother went to school and worked and such. I have lived with them ever since, and i am now a freshman in college. My grandparents feel more like parents to me; they did a wonderful job at raising me and they were very loving. My mother now, is more like my sister. We go to the gym together, fight like sisters, shop together, tan together and everything. My brother and I, who is 13, are very close. I like my family best like this, and wouldnt trade them for the world. Now, recently i hear that alot of grandparents have raised their grandchildren, like my boyfriend he was also rasied by his grandparents. It is becoming more common.

My older brother is taking care of BOTH his daugher's kids. Kids are like ten months apart and are just babies. I feel bad for him.
