Talk to someone about excluding her from the dinner if she has a problem getting along with people. No reason to include people like this in on family functions.

Well......if I were where you are, I'd prbably match her indignance with my own........that would be very amusing.....often 'difficult' people just don't seem to notice what a drag they're being. Sometimes the only cure for that is a taste of their own medicine. If you do that, be sure not to let it get too out of hand.....it willl be Christmas after all. Otherwise, just stay clear out of her way, or try your best to see what you can't do to patch things up.

perhaps it isn't nicely well worth the annoyance for you or the different relatives contributors to confront your sister-in-regulation if she is consistently like that. that is reliable that you've a range of of reliable relatives contributors among your husband's relatives and he or she is very the purely challenge (nicely, that is the way it type of feels from what you're saying). I study yet another reliable piece of suggestion on solutions once about the thanks to manage ungrateful Christmas modern-day recipients: flippantly and gently say that you're sorry that she does no longer like the present, and also you may want to take it living house with you lower back if that can make her sense extra efficient. Do like the advice above - sounds like a a lot less unfavourable way that would want to be nicely worth attempting. reliable luck. optimistically you may spend extra time chatting with the different relatives contributors and be conscious she is going to annoy you and consciously attempt no longer to react (count number to 10, bypass into yet another room or see if there's a job that needs doing etc). wish you do have a cheerful Christmas.

Well, I'm the type that prefers not to be around people who are asses. It doesn't matter if it's Christmas or not. Why pretend for one day, or is it because you may get a gift. So what. I can live without some things.

Christmas Vacation Movie quote: "It's the holidays, and we're all in misery!"
Stay clear of her as much as possible. If she is going to start trouble, confront it head on, and then give her an ultimatum: "Straighten up, or leave my home "
You are ultimately in control of your own home. Anyone who thinks differently should be confronted.

I would say either avoid her tactfully or try to learn why she is so difficult so you can better understand her.

Knock yourself out being nice to her. Maybe she'll react in kind. At least you'll feel good.
