u or the parents need to go and sit with him and tell him to pick up the slack and take away his computer privladges. after he will not spend so much on the computer and things like that if it gets really serious charge him money like every hour or something like that and also tell him that he needs to start living a real life all he is doing is staring at a scree really. hope it helps

He is your brother. Of course he isn't going to listen to you. It could be that he is addicted, but don't blame WoW - what he would be addicted to is escaping from reality. WoW just does it better than most other methods of escapism. Honestly, the clues you give are not enough to make me think there is an addiction to WoW as much as he just doesn't want to be with the rest of his family (typical teenager.) If your parents are willing to listen, encourage them to configure parental controls, and control the hours/time he can play the game. If they are not concerned, or think that it is a phase, listen to them. 12 hours a day is not a lot during the summer, if they have nothing better to do. As a sibling, what you can do is find something else that may interest him. And leave him alone when he is on the computer. Most teenagers don't like to be interrupted, and unless he is doing something that allows for easy multi-tasking, you may be distracting him at a poor time.

sound like you need another computer in your home.May I ask why doesmyour brother beening on the computer brother you so. If he not speending timme with you joining him. You might learn something. computer does keep him out of trouble.you know where he is. How old are you and your brother.? Maybe you can talk to him about why he spend so much time on the computer. But I would joing in and have some fun.

Sounds like my roomate. Trust me you need to take that computer and smash it. My roomate is ****** up. he is on the computer all day everyday and it is ******* annoying. He has some serious social problems too. I dont know how old your brother is but if he doesnt get some social interaction soon, he is gonna be ******. Take that computer and smash it, trust me.

u shuld talk him out of that......the same thing goes with my 18yr old brother.......my family too is worried about his health.....on the news in VN it sed that if u play way too much a yr then u culd die of that.......thats y u shuld talk to him into something else.......like going outside......my brother doesnt go to sleep till 2:30am!!
