Do they treat them any different from before they moved out in the first place? Are their relationships anywhere changed? Perhaps some might be nicer to their kids. or are they a little more enforcing?

I am just curious of other's ideas.
FYI: my parents would love it if I moved back in with them. They miss me so much and I miss them too. But I like to live on my own for a change.

There is absolutely no honor in moving back home with mommy and daddy. It is a sign of laziness and immaturity. I agree that it is a step backwards, we Americans typically say bye and move on out at 18, trying never to move back after that. I love my parents but do not want to live with them again under any circumstances. Moved out at 18 to join the Army, did my four years out there, now 22 and in my own place. Living at home is a lot easier financially but worse in all other ways IME.

I think you should definitely stay out of the nest. Be for real, you'll feel like you're in high school again and that sucks.

Ah yes....the infamous "Parent's Basement" dilema. Well expect some "regression" in the status and personality of the new "house guest". Moving back home is never something people brag about. Most people find it difficult to do because they lived on their own so moving back is sort a step backwards, now they have to obey rules and stuff that they had left behind earlier.
For most people this is a temporary thing, but be worried if they act like they are setting down roots.....take care.
