My brother Matthew studies Music at Newcastle Uni and has a job @ Bi-Lo. It's literally a minute walk 2 get there. He makes round about $4,000 a year.
I asked him 4 an iPod nano 4 my birthday in December. Now I have realized what I want and I want a 30GB iPod. How should I tell him I don't want an iPod nano and I want an iPod?

A man had lived with his partner for almost 20years.They have two 2 sons.His family loved his partner to bits or so it seemed.

She always wanted to get married but his saying was why buy the cow when you're getting free milk.She got fed up so she left with her kids,father has all access to them.Eventually she found herself another man.Now his family are calling her all sorts of dirty names and they are all hostile towards her.Am I to right give her support though I am married to her ex-partners cousin?

last month i lost ANOTHER brother the first about 19 years ago he was 19 i was 7 this brother was 29 i'm 26 he has 3 children a girl and twins 1 boy 1 girl. the first no kids.
my husband and i were trying to start our family but i find that i'm too upset to do anything plus i'm worried about my mother.

Here's the story, my dad was seeing a woman but he ran into my mom who he didn't see since his high school days and started dating (without the other girl knowing about it), he got my mom pregnant but left her and went back to his other one. After I was born, they did have a phone conversation, my mom told him that she had me but lied that the father was a different man, I think she did this because she was angry and felt that he disowned us. Seriously, how could a guy have sex with a woman and not think he impregnated her? I kind of feel that this is the truth and I'm very angry. I know all of you are thinking "why didn't he try looking for him back then after all this time?" but I had a lot of other problems I had to work on at the time. What do I do if he doesn't want anything to do with me, how can I still find out about the other half of my heritage? Do you have any stories of your own you can share?

I am a boy and am in ninth grade. Some of my friends wear bib overalls to school and I think they look cool and would be fun to wear. I often see my friends who wear bib overalls get a lot of nice comments about them from other friends, teachers, and even girls.

I would like to buy a pair of bib overalls to wear to school myself. I'm scared of asking my parents to buy me bib overalls because I'm afraid of what they might say to me about it. It wouldn't make me feel good to embarrass myself in front of my parents in doing so!!

I found some bib overalls on the Internet from Pointer Brand that I plan on buying. My friend, Allan wears these and his picture can be seen here:

Who bring up their children within the lifestyle which makes them obese; fast food, fizzy drinks, computer games all day and no exercize- should this be considered neglect and what would you want social services to do for these individual families?

She was house sitting at my mom's apartment, and she was talking to a friend on the porch. They were both drinking, so I decided to knock on the door. I herd them putting bottles in the trash and when she opened the door, I walked in and looked in the porch to see the beer and wine coolers were gone so I was like man I could use a beer right now, do you have any? My sister looked at me funny, but her friend offered me a beer so I took it. My sis told me not to tell because mom would freak out. I told her that I have seen worse, and I would not tell. My husband loves his kids (9 month old son and 5 yr old daughter), however, he will leave my 9 month old son alone on the floor. I work nights and I sleep during the day. Sometimes I wake up to find my husband on the computer and my son alone down stairs. I don't know how long he leaves him down there, but he always tells me it was only for a minute. I am getting very frustrated with the situation. He has left him alone on the bed and my son has fallen. Today he placed him in the high chair and he did not place the strap around my son, nor did he secure the tray. The tray came loose and my son fell out of the high chair and he split his lip open. I checked him out and other than a bruised lip he is ok, but my husband's reaction is "oh he is ok, he is going to have some bumps and bruises." It drives me crazy. We constantly fight over it. My husband just thinks I am a nag, but I feel I am the only one fighting for our children.

I'm looking for some good ways to discipline your girlfriend when you are out in public and she is moody or acts up. Sometimes girls think they won't be punished if they are out in public. For instance, last time my girlfriend acted up i threatened her with the belt and some jerk told me if I ever hit her with the belt he would call the police. I'm basically looking for discreet methods to bring her in line in which I can give her "the look" and she will know I have the power to do something about it even if we are in public.

My brother is now 35 and I 32 we were unseprateable as kids and teens..my brother then married a woman that doesnt sit right with me she always treats him like a boy she even sends him to his room...he has had a rough adult hood hes a survivor of cancer and of a really bad head injury but she treats him so bad that i cant go there and visit with out coming home upset...my dad and mom say that she treats him inaddiquit so he'll feel like he needs to stay but she does it for his settlement $ from his head injury...i try to befriend her so i feel comfortable visiting but she is mean to him and is so loud and embarassing at times..i want to know my brother again and my nieces and nephews but how do i do it without losing my temper with her??My brother seems to not get he is being walked over and i know every marriage is different but i truly feel he needs an outside relationship with his family HELP!!!

Here's the deal. My parents are super serious about grades, especially in math. I got a D+ on my first quiz and then a B on the second and a B+ on the test and another B on another quiz. I just took another test and I'm pretty sure I did bad on it, but how do I tell my parents that I'm gonna work on it and not get them mad atall. Or maybe should I say something to them before I even get the test back? For them nothing below a A- is acceptable. PLEASE HELP!
