My brother Matthew studies Music at Newcastle Uni and has a job @ Bi-Lo. It's literally a minute walk 2 get there. He makes round about $4,000 a year.
I asked him 4 an iPod nano 4 my birthday in December. Now I have realized what I want and I want a 30GB iPod. How should I tell him I don't want an iPod nano and I want an iPod?

just tell him. but if he only makes about 4,000 a year, maybe you should just tell him that seeing him on your birthday is enough. it doesn't sound like he could afford to get you either.

Ask him like this,

"Can I change my mind on my b-day gift?"
"Can you get me 30GB iPod, instead?"

And you've got to be cute when ask him.

;-)

PS - I hope your brother makes $4,000 a month, not a year...
