Yea, 40 years old is a bit late.

By law you're no longer her responsibility at the age of 18. Hell, I'd be happy that she put up with you for the extra 22 years that she did. I know some people that are being kicked out of their house at the age of 17. Which, is illegal mind you...

if you are in america, your too old to be cared even youre a son,you must out because thats the customs and tradition,of that country,if your in the philippines defenetlly not,try search in other country, being forty you must have a family or you single at this point of time its not too late for you,if you are gay why not stay in a condo unit you have a total freedom but sometimes keep in touch with your parents for respect and love as achild of 40 years old you must aware but stay what you are okey.

Your mother did you no favors by letting you stay in her nest as long as she did. Her responsibility ended with you at age 18. You need to wake up and realize you ARE AN ADULT and start acting like one. Spread your wings and fly!!!!!! You will enjoy it once you get use to it. Plus nobody wants to date a MAN that still lives with mommy!!!

Are you serious, man?
You should have been gone 20 years ago.
You are NOT your parents responsibility.
They are now yours! Grow up!

Dude, grow up.

Is this the same lazy man who wanted to hire a "chick" for running his errands?

You're 40 years old...HELLLLOOOOOOO!...Get a life of your own, and leave your parents to theirs. You'll always be a part of it, only if you move out now, and they continue to like you.
