I am a boy and am in ninth grade. Some of my friends wear bib overalls to school and I think they look cool and would be fun to wear. I often see my friends who wear bib overalls get a lot of nice comments about them from other friends, teachers, and even girls.

I would like to buy a pair of bib overalls to wear to school myself. I'm scared of asking my parents to buy me bib overalls because I'm afraid of what they might say to me about it. It wouldn't make me feel good to embarrass myself in front of my parents in doing so!!

I found some bib overalls on the Internet from Pointer Brand that I plan on buying. My friend, Allan wears these and his picture can be seen here:

(By the way, if you can't say something nice, please don't answer my question...)

why dont you offer to pay for them yourself or offer to do chores around the house, this way your parents will have respect that you are willing to work for the things that you want

well i could see them just fine, so maybe the link wasn't working but is now? Sit your parents down and calmly explain to them exactly what you said on this site. you're very calm and logical about this, and parents like logic. I also agree that you should offer to pay for part of them yourself, or to work it off, with chores, or you could ask for them for a holiday, if one is coming up soon enough. Your parents will probably completely understand. If they say somethign about style (as in they don't like them) you might mention somethign about what was fashionable when they were in high school. Kulotts? i ask you...
