someone offered you a new life, complete with training to be something better than what you are right now? but you had to leave the life you had right now, and never look back,

situations could be,
you are on drugs,
you are poor,
you are in an abusive relationship
you are in a gang,
and so on, would you take the oppertunity to change and never look back??

I thought about having that genetic test thing done so i could find out which part of the world he came from. do u think i should or just leave it it might just stir up more hurt?

My mum is a long time sufferer of bad knees, hips and problems with her hands. I just feel so helpless i want to do something for her. She has to have knee replacements etc, but her legs are so bad that doctors can't do anything at the moment. She can't walk properly and the beginning of the year my pop died who was her father, one leg had been amputated and he was needing to get the other one amutated too, sadly he passed away in the theatre. I'm scared for my mum and her life is so restricted at the moment, i realise that there are people worse off than her but i hate seeing her like this, i want to do more. anyone in this type of situation or any good advice i'd much appreciate thanks heaps xo

I find few ladies running a full time job, managing their children's studies+cooking+managing the household work just with ease (that's what they say). Even after returning home after a full day job and doing all the above chores, they say they have time to take their children to play in park and talk like their children are just smoothies who listen to parents in a very good manner. In short life sounds like a dance to them. Practically I find this impossible. When I come home from the job, I am very, very tired and loose patience easily. Am I abnormal? Pl. serious answers only.

I have complained to ofcom, (well they banned tom and jerry episodes because they were smoking), but when i complained about the nspcc ads and oxfam ads on skys childrens channels they say that its ok unless it upsets many people. (Mainly boomerang and cartoon network)
My children, aged 5 and 2and a half can't understand why scooby doo is interrupted by the vision of a baby on life support. Me either. Don't get me wrong, my kids don't always have the tv on, but i feel i should be able to leave scooby doo on and go and clean the bathroom, or scrub the kitchen floor, or god forbid, actually get 5 minutes to myself!! I can't though, even though scooby is my sons favourite programme. I feel its unfair to show children this sort of thing as they are powerless to do anything, a more subtle commercial could be alot better - one that would get the msg across to the kids that 'know' and goes straight over the heads of the kids who don't 'know'.

His sister is studying at college and staying with us and a few months ago she met a guy and fell in love. He is from the same religion and is over here studying also. She told me about it and i was ok about saying nothing as i thought she was going to tell her family in August when she was in India but she only told her mum and her sister and noone has any intentions of telling her dad or her brother until the guy in question is in a position to make it official, meaning 2 or 3 years away once he has finished his studying and has a job. I have been helping her a lot so she can meet him as my hubby is very protective. He convienently forgets he didnt even marry from his own religion or even from his country but thats men for you, do as i say not as i do!!!
Anyway, i dont feel comfortable keeping this secret. She got upset last night and she said does this mean she cannot trust me with anything? if she was just my friend it would be easier but it can damage my marriage in the process.

he works at minimum wage jobs. won't try to better himself by getting a better education, and only thinks of himself. they were living here with us until my daughter was hospitalized and under drugs, that's when he took advantage of the situation and talked her into moving out to live with 9 of his friends. Now all i hear about is how bad it is where they are at. and how unhappy she is. I told her to wait till she was out of hospital to make a decision but she wouldn't hear of it. At that time she couldn't make heads from tails. How do i get rid of this guy. or whatever ,,,, any suggestions.
'by the way, he is a compulsive liar as well. lies about everything. he told his wife that he got laid off , when in fact he was fired. oh i could go on about all the lies he tells her. but she doesn't see it. They are always broke and need things for the baby, and i won't refuse them things for her. she is such a sweete. HELP

Although I adore both of them, I have no clue as to what would make them happy on their birthday, I live in the UK and have no idea what the latest crazes are for little girls in this age group. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.... I'm better at buying gifts for bigger girls!

My seven year old has only been back at school 2 days and already he is saying he hates it. He refuses to get dressed in the morning it's a battle every morning. This started last term and I didn't help matters because I used to give in to him sometimes. He makes any excuse not to go like he was being bullied, so I had a word with the headmaster he said he gets along with all his classmates. He's ill and this term i'm getting "the work is too hard", what can I do I can't stand this every morning for the whole school year.
