Is he getting bullied?? He may well be, if not give it time. You need to explain to him clearly how important school is. He has a reason he does not want to go. My be legit or not, so you need to investigate a little. I say over time he will get over it.

Take him to a therapist now, while he is young or you will end up fighting much worse battles when he hits his teens. He has a reason, even if no one thinks its valid and he needs a non biased observer to work through it with. I know you love him, but kids will never be 100 percent up front with parents, and they all have different reasons. As for the headmaster, they overlook a fair amount of bullying sometimes and the school psych. is hired by the school and does what is best for the school first, then the student.

how about u ask him what he wants to be when he grows up? when he answers u, give him an example and tell him X went to school n studied hard.. and i believe motivating is the best thing to do.. kids love it, u make a deal with him, let him choose a toy n tell him ill buy it 4u only if u go to school for the next weekend without any trouble n if he does, get him the toy, next time make it 2 weeks then a month, after that he'll get used to it..

When he reality sets in with him that Mom is not giving in, he'll stop complaining that he hates school. Explain to him that he should give it a go as he's only been in school for 2 todays and that if he gives up now, he might miss out on something great at school. Perhaps he is bored with the classes he has. I'd also consult with his doctor to see if he/she can recommend anything else that we may have missed.

I'd have him evaluated by the school psychologist and see if maybe he/she can get some answers on what is going on and what can be done to help the situation. The psychologist can also gauge his IQ and see what areas he's strong or weak in and can also detect any learning disabilities that may be making school difficult for him. He may be extremely frustrated because he's not understanding what's being taught. Just some ideas.

no matter what something is happening with your son. he is either not developing the social skills he will need in life. i'd say enroll him in an afterschool activity. so he makes friends because if he doesnt want to go to school it is very likely he has a hard time making friends or kids pick on him ither way try developing him socially. if that doesnt work try and homeschool him for a while if possible. i recommend kickboxing/karate for a while and move him on to basketball or football when he gets into middle school.

I don't know too many seven year olds who do like going to school. When I was seven, I didn't want to go to school and neither did any of my seven year old friends.
If your kid keeps this up, do what my mother did--smack his behind. It'll be for his own good. You don't want a stupid kid who won't leave home when he's 38, do you? Well, smack his bottom and tell him to go to school.

Probably he believes that the school is so boring and he don't like the environment... Try to find another school that will fit his likes...
