Ahh.. Today was my birthday (turned fifteen) and i got my left ear pierced at claire's..it was a small 14k earring and my mom thought it would be no big deal.. i showed my grandma this and she said she didnt like earrings the other night.. then she starts blaming my mom n since my grandma was preparing my dinner into the microwave and stuff,she was really pissed cause she was slamming the microwave door thing and the refrigerator really loud.. then my grandma and mom had the biggest fight ever..my grandma starts scolding my mom cause that she doesnt care about me and stuff..since im vietnam,my grandma thought i would be stupid when i grow up and stuff and i dont know why..
my mom said she had enough and stuff so she finally talked back to my grandma..my grandma was REALLY red she was really loud too and my mom was upset and crying..

the fight lasted 15 minutes or so.. (not really physical ) but REALLY ear piercing loud..

so do i just forget about this or what do i do!

it seems that 99.99% of the crys for help here are from folks (especially females) who have bad/low self esteem!

what is your experience/understanding of self-esteem? who needs it anyway? where and how can one find self-esteem training, classes, material, etc.? does Google have anything on it? can you find self-esteem books, tapes, cds, videos, etc. in a library or bookstore? can you offer any websites re. self-esteem? what difference could self-esteem studies possibly make?

My mom need $4000 to keep her house and $3000 on a new car. Now she askin me for it.But the only time she talk to me is when she want or need sumthing.Like a fool I keep giving in to her.Altogether she have got over $800 from and I didnt ask her to pay none of it back.Few weeks ago i went to jail for beatin her azz cause we dont get alone at all.Been like this since I was about 5...Should i give her the money or wat...

I used to be really close to her when I was little. I went with her everywhere and couldn't stand being away from her. I would do anything just to please her and she took advantage of me by ordering me to do things the way she liked. Then things slowly started to change when I realized that no matter what I did she could never love me. I feel that she has been taking me for granted all along. She even said that I shouldn't have been born when I have always been a good girl. I hardly ever give my parents any trouble. I was a straight-A student I even came top of my class and when I told my mom the news she listened like it wasn't a big deal. But whenever my sister who's always been such a brat achieves something she would go and brag about it to everybody.

My teenage daugher has recently gotten caught performing oral sex on her boyfriend by me....she is 15. I told her she was not allowed to be alone with her boyfriend anymore unless she is supervised or she gets on the pill.....she refuses because she claims she is not going to have sex til she is married.
