Well, I don't think it is the fear of being Pregnant I do believe it has something to do with the way the world is nowadays. It's very scary knowing what the future holds for our new generation.

It's too much responsibility when your husband or some part of society expect you to stay at home or else you're not a good mother. Everything is abt money nowadays. It's not cheap to raise a kid.

These days it is all to common that both parents of families have to work to pay off the mortgage and make ends meet. This puts a huge strain on families especially with having to find good childcare and then paying for it, finding time to spend with the family, helping with homework, cooking, cleaning etc.
