I am divorced and I got my daughter a cell phone 2 years ago when she was 12 so I can get a hold of her and she can have what all her freinds have. She keeps going over her minutes and text messeges. My problem is... I see her every other weekend, I don't want to punish her when she comes to visit and don't want her to resent me. I have suspended her service, taken her phone away etc. and she still doesn't get it! A little help please.

She's broke, but working on a plan with CCCS to pay off her bills. I have certain rules to abide by, like no smoking in the house, and don't bring home overnight guests. I feel like she resents the rules and I understand her frustration in being under the rules of her mother, but I feel very unappreciated. Mother's Day came and went without even a word. She "borrows" things without asking and doesn't return them. Whenever I say anything, and it is always done in a respectful tone, she gets defensive. She told me she is moving out and in with a friend. I'm thinking, I'm pretty angry that she is willing to pay her friend $325 and I haven't seen a cent out of her. I put her on my calling plan and she has racked up a $200 bill and hasn't paid me anything on it. I am going to cancel the service. Last year she tried to commit suicide. She lived out-of-state. I want to be supportive without enabling her. It's driving me crazy!

I Live in a small town in Ohio our fireworks are so lame you blink your eyes and it's over (just like sex ha ha) where can I take my family to see really good fireworks? I've heard Cleveland is really good but I don't know which day they are having them and at what time and where to see them at, or could you tell me where to look in the internet to find out. Thanks

Want to hear especially from anyone that does send their babies to daycare by choice (you could move in with parents if you are single and work at night / or live on just one salary if you moved or downsized to a smaller house... )

I just don't fully understand why mothers / fathers do something to their kids they would not want done to themselves -- or would you honestly want to spend your days as a baby with strangers dividing theri attention among 10+ other babies at some center, getting sick all the time and feeling left behind, vs. home getting 100% attention baking cookies w/ mom or playing in your room w/ dad and exploring bugs in the yard.

I have a younger sister, and she is pregnant and already has two small children. She is married yet separated. Her no good husband kicked her out of the house that they were living in. So, they are living with me. With a baby on the way, and two small children, life can be uncomfortable in a one-bedroom apartment. She has already went under bankcrupcy, so she cannot get a place on her own, even though that would be ideal... What should I do? Only sensible answers please.

I am so mad I wanna cut off all communication with my family!
I have a friend that I met a year and a half ago and mom hasnt met her, but she says" don,t go drinking or partying with her." and the like.

First things first I am 30 yrs. old. Should she just STFU?

And my friend, for starters is NOT a partier! She is handicapped and has to stay home a lot because of it. And drinking for here is RARE!I mean RARE!

I think mom is such a stuck up *****! That,s what I think!
Do you think she has any right to judge people BEFORE she meets them?

because of alot of hassle from her mum after we split, there's been no contact until last year when we had a phone conversation in which she was angry at me for leaving her { quite right too i should never have walked away} she said her mum's husband has been a good dad and does'nt want too see me then put the down, her mum's husband is the one who was having an affair with my wife while we were still together. i have'nt been able to get through to her on that number since, i've sent a letter trying to explain and even knocked on her door do i send birthday and xmas cards hoping one day she'll come around or just leave her to get on with her life, perhaps it's been too long ? ps she's 23 now . i'm anne f's friend.
