I don't think there is a good formula to being a good parent. It's all about understanding where the kid is coming from, let them live there own lives, but yet be careful not to allow them too have too much freedom. Just talking to them about all the hazards to life, no guidelines, I think you just remember how your parents did it and you modify their rules to fit your need. Although praying is a good idea.

If you had good parents then learn from them if you didn't then learn from them. The best answer is to always love your children no matter how they turn out. Straight, gay, even if they take the wrong road be there for them. If you are like me I only had the chance to screw up once and I did a good job of that. So be strong and consistant. Always tell them that you love them and read to them everynight. Life is to short to work and not have a life with your kids. Hug and kisses every night. Best of luck. You will do alright

There is no magic formula, crossing your fingers is good. All you can do is raise kids to be respectable, trustworthy, honest and loving and compassionate. If you are doing the best you can, then that is all anyone can expect. I truly wish you the best. I've been there done that.

There is no such thing as a formula to being a good parent. The only thing you have to do is to make sure that your children are happy, but know the difference between right and wrong. It is our job as parents to show them love caring and a great way of life!

All I can say is be there for your children teach them, protect them, let them be children and Cherish every moment with them cause it goes by too fast, give them advice and hope they make the right decision and when things go wrong comfort them. No one has all the answers Don't feel bad if you make a mistake learn from it. If you are a good person and have love in her heart it will pass to your children.

The best you can do is pray for guidance. You should live the life you want your kids to live. They learn by example. If you want them to be in a loving, respectable relationship, then you need to make sure yours is a loving and respectable relationship.

No matter what you do, though, keep God in the center of it all. He will guide yall.

Being kind and patient and showing lots of love and guidance, no matter what. Being a parent is a learning process too, there is no particular formula, but there are different methods that are all successful.
