Adoption isn't wrong. As long as people still give up children and as long as somebody wants a child adoption can't be wrong. If there was no adoption what would happen to all the children who need a home and what would happen to all the parents who are unable to have children of their own?

There is not a thing in the world wrong with adopting a child/children. There are many many kids out there that needs a good and decent home. Just make sure that you are doing it for the right reasons. Once it is finial, that child/children becomes yours as if you were the one that gave birth to it. I would adopted one in a heart beat or even be a foster parent if things were different here with me. Good luck in the future with your new child/children.

No, it isn't wrong, it is neccesary. The sad thing about it is that people have children when they do not want them.

Imagine what the world would be like if there were no adoption, perhaps more abortions? I imagine people would panic if the option to give the baby up for adoption was taken away.

No it is not wrong, many children have lost family in accidents and other situations. What about people who are not able to have kids of thier own due to medications they have to take ?
Why would adoption be wrong? If it were why would we have adoption agencies?
My brother adopted his wive's girl; my sister-in-law already had this child when my brother & sister-in-law met.
I repeat, adoption is not wrong. What if something happened to your family when you were a child & you were the only survior in the family? Where would you be if it were wrong?

Well, being adopted I would have to say it's not wrong.
I know little about my original parents, however, if they didn't want me or didn't think they could provide a good life they always could have had an abortion. So if you consider the options...

Also, most usually the parents who want to adopt go through a very lenghty screening process and wait time. So, the state tries to make sure it's for the right reasons and that the child goes to a good home.
I consider myself very fortunate.

FYI: Adoption means the parents pay money. Foster parents get a check. Adoption when not in the family (adopting a niece or nephew when a sibling dies, for example) is usually very expensive. Tens of thousands of dollars. One does not adopt to "get a check"

why would it be wrong? I think it is a very nobel thing to do. To take of those who are unable to taken care of. I think some of the ways kids get into the process of adoption are bad, but the act of adoption is a nobel act on anyones part.

Adoption is a beautiful thing. It gives an unwanted child the chance to be loved and wanted. It also gives someone that can't have children a wonderful gift of a child.

It's wrong for some people.
My belief is a person has to be the right person for this potentially beneficial commitment. Not all people have the gift of adoptive parenting. So it's not an everyone anyone type thing. Why?To many abuse cases.
