Family - July 2006

We were best friends, like sisters, we did everything together for the last 10 years. We graduated high school and like most girls started to party. That is when things changed I went on and started working and she never seemed to move on from the party. We started talking less and less. Last June we got in a huge fight over something so stupid that its not even worth mentioning. I have only seen her once since then and it was for her mothers funeral. She calls every once in a while but it is soooo awkward!! She is still the same party girl and I still work 60-70 hours a week. I drive by her house everyday and I miss our friendship but we have nothing in common any more. I have tried to make other friendship as significant but I can't. Do I try to make this work and stick with my memories??

She tries to tell lie after lie ot get sympanthy or whatever. I tell her it is wrong, 'cause I know her family and friends are almost all wise to her lies. If she wants people to know and love her, then she needs to be herself.
What more can I do to get this through to her? Intervention?

in order for me to get a cell phone i had to complete one of the following things 1) my best friend Teresa had to get one (but that was not haping soon the others were 2) I had to get my black belt (which i did) the other was that i had to be on the honor role for an entire year.

my sister had the same agrements so when i got mine she got a little phone called i firefly but she washed it and got an actual phone?!!!? so naturally i raised hell because do you think that it was fair that she got a phone when she was 11 years old (and i made an agrement w/ my mom that she had to be 13 before she got one) and she did not do any of the requirements to come buy it ?

If it sound like im whining i apologize i just hate being treated unfairly

I live with my gay older brother cause my parents got put in prision. He told me last night that he wants us to talk more openly & honestly. And i feel very unconfortable talking to him. We never were vary close. He is 19 and very machure he never drinks. And i am 13 and well i dont like talking to him. How do i get to feel more confortalbe with my gay brother and not so wierd? Ok, I know someone else already asked this exact question, but WOW some of the answers were really SAD. I am not a baby factory, nor ever wanted to be, and never will. More people need to NOT have children. There are WAY too people on this earth. There is no quarantee that kids will take care of you when you are old. Just because you get married to someone you love does not mean you will want to become a baby factory!!! It is selfish to HAVE children. I don't want to be on this earth, I don't have a choice because my parents (I love them) had me. Now I am stuck here. Before everyone starts sending hate mail to me, I love children. But if people were more responsible the world would be better! Couples that have been married for a few years, that have the money etc. having children is the only way it makes sense. You don't sleep around, get pregnant to a bunch of guys and go on welfare! Wow, I am running out of space and I have a lot more to say! Oh well.

That most cant spell or put thier sentences where they are readable...I know its normal to misspell a word or several...but some on here it takes you five minutes just to understand what they are saying and I think most are wrote by kiddos. Some of the questions asked dont even make no sense at all. Im not complaining Im just wondering...some are so damn funny, just wondering if anyone else has noticed it or is just me.

Do people not realize that when we allow kids to get away with poor behavior we are teaching them a horrible lesson? What happens to them when Mommy and Daddy aren't there to defend them or pick up the pieces when they screw up?

I am my mother's caregiver as she has severe COPD and is almost needing help 24/7. Both Mother and I are only children. I get no help from anywhere-not community or social service or anyone. I am overtired and overworked. I just can not understand where everyone else seems to get ALL the help they need or want!

She received a call from a former youth pastor that is 10 years older than her. He is wonderful man of God. He told her that his wife had left him and he was getting a divorce also. She has always loved him and his wife because they have always been there for her. He has asked her to go out to eat with him just because he wants to hang out with her. They love each other very much, as friends. He actually told his soon to be ex-wife that he was going to hang out with my daughter and she said that was a good idea. She is involved with another man and could care less. My question is, would this be a good idea for her to get involved with someone that she thinks so much of. she really feels like she is doing his wife wrong by going out with him even though she knows about it. We've been praying for god to send her a Godly man but we were floored when he called her to go out. He wants to get in a relationship with her and she is afraid that everyone will think bad of both of them @ church.

my broyher and his wife been married for 18 years. they split up for 6 months about 7 yrs.ago because she was having an affair with another man. he hasn`t really trusted her fully since then,he works very hard,he has 2 jobs and works 14 hrs/day to take care of his family, they have two teenage kids too. she recently went back to school and works too,well they have been fighting alot lately about finances, etc.. she made a remark to me one day that if he keeps bein controlling and bein an a** hole its only pushing her away, and also she said she`d be done if the crap continues, she said the reason she went back to school was to get away from him and the kids`s fighting and overall everything i guess.she has also told me she has had offers but hasn`t done anything. keep in mind tho i just met my brother over xmas this last year. we were seperated, i was adopted. but i really care about my brother the lil time i have known him we`ve gotten closer.last thing i want is to cause problems.

I spent the week with my niece and enjoyed the time I spent with her more than anything I have before. Seeing her crawl and try to take her first few steps brought tears to my eyes. Seeing something so innocent, something so happy, how can anyone take it upon themselves to stop this? Or in cold reality "kill it?" I have stopped the struggle to understand why it is accepted, to me it is killing. So come on, tell me why it is accepted? Why is killing a child accepted. Do not pull the fetus card on me because we all know that is crap. Come tell me your deepest feelings, I am accustomed to lies.

I found out a little over a week ago that my finance' cheated on me. It was with a woman in the apartment building next to mine. He did this in October, while I was pregnant with his son. He never told me and even try to hide things. He found out in December that the woman was also pregnant with his baby. For several months he treated me very bad and we even seperated for about 1 month. Then I find out all of this. I asked him why he could ever do this to me... his response was because he was affraid that I would leave him so he did it first. He also told me that he has mental issues like being bi-polar. Well he decides that he wants to try and work things out. He says that he will do whatever it takes to keep me. My question is , is should I try and work things out? He is 30 years old... I am 23. He has 2 daughters by his second wife and has a daughter on the way by this other woman. I know that I cant trust him right now and there is no guarntee that I can at a later date.

She is the most self-serving b**** that I have ever met. She makes an effort to buy herself Acqua di Parma Parfum and anything else she wants before she does anything (if anything) for her kids. My niece and nephew are dirty on the regular. When both of them turned 5, she told them that they had to bath and dress themselves. Sometimes, they go for days at a time without bathing. She told my nephew that his feet stink. So, she bought him a bottle of foot-powder and didn't even take the time to teach him how to use it. BUT...she fussed him out when he emptied the bottle a few days later! She leaves out the house in the morning freshly groomed and freshly coiffed! My brother is in Iraq at the moment and this problem is getting worse by the minute!
I would like to call the OREGON Dept of Families and Children on her triffling-***, but I'm afraid that those officials will excuse her behavior because her husband is at war. Short of ambushing/beating this b**** what do I need to do?
