Family - July 2006

My mom and I fight alot, she calls me names, and makes fun of me for not having a boyfriend, saying I'm too fat or ugly to get one. Ever since I turned 18 we have been fighting and she says she doesn't care if I was to die. Then other times, its like we're best friends, how do I ignore her painful insults, I figure, she's my mother, if she thinks that about me, what must the other people in this world think, some advice would be helpful right now, because I don't know how to boost myself up after she gets done with me.

I love alternative bands and punk stuff but my mom doesn't like that. She doesn't like my bands (especially Panic! At The Disco) She calls them the "weird band" and I get upset at her. I just went 2 see them in concert (without her there even though she knew I was going) But before, I asked her about 2 months ago if I can go & once I told her Panic! At The Disco was alternative she said "I'm not taking u! Someone else is going 2 have 2 take u! U know how those alternative bands dress!" So then I was mad at her for saying that, she had never even been 2 an alternative band. Anyway while I was at the Panic! At The Disco concert, my mom was in the house with my little sister (who also doesn't like punk bands & stuff) and they were watching the "I Write Sins..." video. (I guess it was bcuz my mom wanted 2 see what I would be listening 2.) When she saw the circus people in the video, my mom told my sister, "I don't want her (me) 2 dress like that" I'm ashamed 2 be myself bcuz of my mom

My daughter has now graduated, she dragged her feet applying to colleges and now can't get into the college she chose until spring. So far she has sat in her room, gone out with friends and talked on the phone all day long. I was paying her phone bill but recently cancelled it. She just will not make any effort not just with looking for a job but helping around the house etc. She is bone idle and apart from throwing her out I have no clues on how to get her going. Her Dad gave her a couple of thousand dollars which she has been using but now only has $200 left. Any ideas?

I've never really had a loong relationship, i don't think my parents will let me use their cars becuz my mom is stubborn and lazy and thinks she's the queen when really she sits at home watching tv feeling sorry for herself, i have to babysit my bestfriend thats the same age as me because her mom doesn't trust her so she's always at my house trying to smoke and get high complainging abouthow her mom might make her switch schools which i think she shoudl and i don't have anyone to really talk to. any help on how to make my life easier?

My mom has constantly yelled at me today and I want to yell back but I haven't...I respect my mother a lot! She has been sooo bossy and she's never like this. they said they were staying in a hotel. we do not get along together. i am upset that they did not ask first if it is ok with us to stay over. how to i get them to stay somewhere else? i feel it is very rude to invite yourself to stay overnight with someone.

My father has another child who is about 12 years old. I have not seen my father since I was a kid and he had this child with a married woman.

The woman has her husband raising this child but collects child support from my father, so will she have the same last name as my father?

I want to find out where she is and possibly meet her, I cannot find her info from my father since I cut him off from me years ago.

Is there anyway to search records for her?
