My father has another child who is about 12 years old. I have not seen my father since I was a kid and he had this child with a married woman.

The woman has her husband raising this child but collects child support from my father, so will she have the same last name as my father?

I want to find out where she is and possibly meet her, I cannot find her info from my father since I cut him off from me years ago.

Is there anyway to search records for her?

Possibly. However, given the child is a minor, and a young one at that, he mother would have to give permission in order for you to get to meet her.

She may have your fathers last name, but not necessarily.

Without your fathers help, it will be very difficult to locate her. You will probably need the mothers full name, possibly her husbands name, and a general idea of where they are living to start searching.

Once the girl is an adult, if you can get her legal name, or can try with what you know, you can search for her (once she begins having things herself like bank accounts, telephone, cable tv, etc where her name is used).
