Family - July 2006

i have been like really mad at my grandpa for liek at least a year now and its not so much of what he does for me,,, its more of what he doesn't do for me

my grandma died when i was i think 3 and then after a few years he met this lady. at first no 1 minded her but now all he does is spend his time with her like he would rather be with her than his own family

like i remember he used to come down to my house every wednesday just him then it became every once and a while and occasionally she would come and now he never comes up anymore

i mean i no he just got over having cancer and all but he is able to go everywhere with the gf but it seems that he never has time to spend with any1 else in my family

an other thing is that every family event we have (christmas, easter,, ect..) the gf is always there like she has to be there. i no that he probably is lonely with my grandma gone and all but sometimes i wish that he died instead of my grandma. is this so wrong??

my mum is a poerson with toooo much expectations on me...all my sisters have excelled darn well in their academics....and she wants me to do the same..being a teenager, i cant even hang out with my frens..i have such a tight restriction...every sentence she speaks to me will have the word 'study'...yst, i just cudnt help it i screamed at her..i mean...how much can a teenage girl take?
she started lecturing me..and she isnt tokin to me...it has been 24 hrs since sh's uttered a single word to me....

wat do i do?
i dont wanna apologise as it isnt my fault...but how can i fix this?

Me and my mother never get along. She stopped talking to me for three months because her boyfriend told her it was either me or him and she chose to get rid of me. Turns out the next couple months he got rid of her and she had no where to go, I was living with my grandmother. and she was moving with my brother and sister from place to place behind her. so they were homeless for a couple of months. Then after not talking to me for three months she came and told me that i needed to sign a paper for her to get a apartment. well being that she's my mom I did it but i regret it. She tells me when i can come in and out and its not right . I pay rent and buy groceries. and i think its time for me to do my own thing and let her get back up on her feet on her own. She's always put men before her kids. So what do u think I should do? Keep in mind she's 40. Let me know

When my husband and I were married, we discussed children for a long time before we had them. We decided that the best thing would be for me to stay at home with the children. We now have 2 beautiful boys, 4 and 1 and I want to renegotiate and he says no way. My hubby works 9-5 , comes home plays with the kids for an hour and then onto the comp while I clean up, then it's bed.. except that I have a 4 year old with emotional and health problems and I have to do EVERYTHING around the house.. which was NOT part of the deal. I cook, clean, child rear, mow the lawn, fix stuff, call people, handle the bills, do the laundry EVERYTHING. ALSO.. he comes up with these hair brained schemes all the time to make money, and tells me that while I am cleaning, cooking etc to do research for him for his ideas... am I wrong to want to renegotiate?

i used drugs in my passed and i used to deal but i stopped and my mom dosnt think i am going to stay straight i been clean since 10/5/05 and i havent touched a drug and now she is telling me to leave and get out and i want to know how to get thru to her and tell her that i changed and i am not going back and she just wont listen to me she tells me to pack my sh*t and leave and never come back can some1 give me addvice

My mom,is al of a sudden srticter like yeasterday I threw away two eggs because they creacked and I was boiling them and stuff started to come and I ask her if I could go to VBS (vaction bible school)And she gave me a leture on how we have to plan to go to California next week.SHE DRIVING ME NUTZ I'm trying to make her proud of me but when I do something good its like she doesn't care at all

My sister has never had a home. She's lived w/ one person to the next. I just bought a new home and I've got an extra bedroom she wants to rent. She doesn't have a job and rarely keeps one. She's also got a son she can't control. When I was renting, I offered for her to stay with me and she turned me down, but now that I've got a nice home she wants to stay w/ me. I feel like I'm turning my back on her since the room isn't being used, but they would have my house ruined in a matter of days. She is "domestically challanged", putting it nicely. Am I wrong for this or should I open my home to her and bite my tongue? I can't help but feel guilty.

Well I think my sis is being too sensitive. She expects people to do everything that she wants. I am not going to fall for her tears. She has been a disgrace to this family. She nearly got sent to prison cos she got obsessed over this white fella who was twice her age and had sex with him too-dirty cow. Then she kept attention-seeking by overdosing …was in a ward of nutters for a few weeks. My mum trusts me; I feel I earn her respect and trust. I can go off traveling as my trusts me…no one can trust my sis. Her problem is that she expects too much of people. The other night she presumed I purposely banged the door and that was whining to me. She really pisses me off so slammed the door again. My sis is a liar, manipulator. I will never forgive her when she punched my tooth out when I was little. She said the other night 'I can't remember doing that we were kids we are adults now’..Yeah Right! I don't trust her. I refuse to lend her my stuff now. I hate her.

I have to go to this party Sunday afternoon and the party is for 3 reasons: 1-My cousin Travis is going to be leaving for Iraq in August. 2-He and his Fiance' Jessica were engaged this past Christmas so it's kind of a engagement party for them and 3- it's also Jessica's graduation party. My step-dad let me barrow the truck yesterday to go to my girlfriends house. I have a license and have been driving for about 2 years. I decided to take the back road(dirt road) to my girlfriends house instead of going all the way around on the paved road. I was coming up to a curve so I started to slow down. I slowed down enough to make the curve but when I started to turn the wheel the truck started to slide because of all the loose gravel. Well the road goes something like this - v====v. The v's are the ditches, and they are really shaped like v's. Well the truck started to slide and I was alread too far on my side of the road to really have any room to pull out of the slide and if I was to turn into the slide I would have hit a tree. The passenger tires went down into the v-shaped ditch and when I got the truck back on the road I stopped and looked at the damage that mgiht have been done. The back tire was popped and supposidly the quarter panel was bent somehow and now the door...

I'm moving from central Texas to the West Palm Beach area with my 15 yr old son and 11 year old daughter. We are leaving the only town my children have ever lived in. We're also leaving their father. We have family there and will have some support but I'm not sure about the emotional toll or the basic logistics of moving that far. Any advice or comments are appreciated. God's peace.

i'v married just 3 months ago.i have a great husband and i love him so much. he has a very intimate relationship with his mom and although i 'm not a jelouse girl but i dont know why i'm just sick about this. his mom and his only sis are not bad persons at all and we havent any problem . i just pretend and treat them so much politeness but i know that it's not true! is that normal not abling to see yr in-laws? would you plz let me know yr ideas?

he sleeps so hard it takes me an hour or so to get him up. i have tired loud ones, setting them for two hours before he has to get up. we have even tried to make him go to bed earlier. it does not matter how long he sleeps, he sleeps like the dead. help please.
