ok its like this... you chose your wife... your wife chose you... you both chose to have a kid...

your wife did NOT choose to have your brother stay. IF the brother is child then fair enough, by child I mean under 18 years of age, he should stay with you and your wife needs to learn to give a litle...

IF your brother is over 18....... the choice is simple and you already made it..... on your WEDDING DAY!.... you chose to share your life with your wife....

If your brother is trying to work and contributing to your household and not just living off of you and your wife, then I think your wife is being selfish. Family is family. Would she turn her back on her sister or want you to? Explain to her that you love your brother and want to be there for him. If she doesn't understand this, she is not a very loving person. I'm sure it is difficult to have someone else in her home. Ask her what your brother can do to make things easier, then tell him what those things are. Good luck!

If your brother has no other family, there is no reason he can't stay for a little while until he can get two jobs to support himself. However, if this is causing strife with your wife/child relationship, you'd better set a date when he has to move out. He can always get a roommate and share expenses with someone else. It's not worth causing trouble in your marriage.

You and your wife need to come up with a compromise about him living with you and her and your child. He should be working and contributing to the household unless you are financially well off enough to where if he stays with you, it won't change your financial status. Family is important, especially when it is becoming sparse, but your wife and child come second to God so use caution with your decision. Don't place her second to your brother. Pray. God will help you come to the right decision. Good luck! Hope it helps!

You are gonna lose in the long run if you do not move your brother out. He will finally drive your wife crazy and she will snap. You have to man up and move his butt out. It will be better for him as well as your family in the long run. All I can say is give him some tough love. We all want what is best for our brothers, but sometimes you have to do what is best for you and yours. I just experienced this myself. We did everything for my brother except shovel the 100's of dollars of food a month he ate into his mouth. Finally, I had enough of his freeloading. Tough love has to start somewhere, so we gave him the boot.

hey boss,

i know this is very difficult situation, but u have to convince to ur wife. because it is not right at all to leave ur brother for ur wife. because he is also a part of ur family like ur wife is. if she doesnot agree then just be a man, and shout at her, and tell her that she will have to live with ur brother also, and she has to give the respect and love to ur brother.

just try

all the best

It is never good to have a relative move in with you. You may have to choose between them. Your wife...or...your brother.
