my step dad does drugs and is verbally abusive towards my mother and me. i know he doesnt mean to be that way, but it hurts me and my mother. i dont think he has ever hit my mom or anything, but he does hurt her feelings alot. i moved in with them a few days ago, so that maybe he would take his aggression out on me. I know it wasnt probly the best decison, but i did it. What do you all think i should do to better the situation?

I argue with my mum continuosly. I try to resolve it but she just ignores me. I think it would be better if I moved in with my dad. But then my mum said she was going to move away as soon as I moved out. But I don't want her to because she would be taking my brother with her. I know she is doing it to spite my dad and it really hurts me and him. I've talked to her about it before but it doesn't seem to work. Help me please.

My grandfather's name was Anthony Hardman and he migrated to Cuba in the 20's 30's, not sure. There he married my grandmother but he never registered my mother in the British embassy at that time. I know he left relatives in the Uk. I am living in USA now and I would like to find them but that is all I know. I can ask my mother for more details if somebody has any idea how to find them. Thank you.

Last night she told my 7 year old son that I had a baby girl who died before he was born. I did, but I was going to tell him myself when he was a little older. He has so many questions and he is very sad because "his sister died". I don't know if I'll ever be able to speak to the witch again. When I tried to talk to my husband about it he told me to chill and stop being such a smart-a**. I'm really hurt. More for my son then for me of course. Advice?

You've been with someone for so long and love them more than anything. You're getting married in a few months and all of a sudden they want out. Even though they claim they love you and they believe the Lord will work things out. Is there anything to explain this. Do some christians run away from problems. I never did. I know the Lord can work this out. But can you really love someone and be in love with them and don't support their needs and Run out on them everytime a problem shows up. Is it possible that this person has someone else in her life who does the things I can't do? It's been a long time we've been in this relationship and I always thought we'd get married. It's only a few months away and I'm watching it fade away.

I know you want both, but which one is priority and which one is your priority? A example of your priority in action would be appreciated, but not required.

DH and I are having a hard time picking a middle name for our unborn daughter. We both love the name Elizabeth, so that is definitely her first name. We cannot however find anything to go with Elizabeth that we love. We don’t want to go with a traditional middle name like Marie or Ann, we are looking for something a little different. Anyone have any suggestions?

So my mom is kicking me out of the house in 20 days when I turn 18. We've never got a long, and now I am in the worst situation ever. I am a full time preschool teacher who makes 7.25 an hour which is nothing I can live on. I start college in the fall so that is more expenses I'll have to pay. I am willing to get loans out if I need to. But what do I do? Is it a better idea to get a loan and get a house....or just go for an apartment???

Or is it OK for me to keep my job and she can get a job too (she put in notice at her current company as she prepared for maternity leave b/c I thought I would get a promotion but it did not happen....)

I love my line of work (sports) and love the company I work for, but do need to make more money now that we have a baby and can probably get a job paying at least $1000 more per month...

If she gets a job that would be enough for daycare and to make up the difference from the promotion I was going to get... she said maybe she can work at night or from home? ADVICE?? I need to act fast - the baby is due in 6 weeks!

I talk back without thinking, I raise my voice at my parents and I'm totaly disrespectful to my elders. But I didn't start out that way, I was a sweet young lady, though I did have some issue's that I kept inside I guess I couldn't hold it in any more.

is in the hosptial and something to do with his heart. My son IM'd me at work to tell me. Now, he and I haven't spoken in 2 1/2 years and I LIKE IT THAT WAY. He's mean, arrogant, hurtful. My husband, his brother, even knows it but he will be upset when he finds out he's in the hospital. The family is going to think I'm horrible that I'm not all "loving" about this. He wasn't there when I had breast cancer - nor did he care. We have a mutual dislike toward each other -- been like this for years. He hurts people and is your typical "know it all." Here I go again, look like the bad apple in the eyes of the in-laws. Should I be real - the way I really feel or fake it for them? He's hurt me ON PURPOSE numerous occasions - even tried to get my husband to leave me (after 24 years of marriage).

I hjave a frined who's daughter flucked the 6th grade, my friends mom (the kids grandma) is very controlling and holds over my friends head that she is living in her house, (my friend lives at one of her mom's rentals as a tenant), but her older daughter refuses to do chores, is a liar and has a moutyh on her towards her mom that i wish i could beat the crap out of her 99% of the time. Well thsi kids grandma wanted to send her on vacation, my friend said no, so grandma went ahead and got this kid a tv with dvd andvcr integrated, and mp4 player, numerous xbox games, a nintendo ds with a couple of games and even got her in soccer camp. My friend tries her best to stop it but since her mom is helping her financially and letting her pay the rent late and such she feels stuck! And now grandma expects my friend to still let her go on vacation! and to drive her daughter from one camp to another on a daily basis!! how unreasobable is this? Please people be honest here !!
