hey my sis is 18 and she thinks just cause shes older she can yell and hit me...what do i do???

Me and my sister would always fight all the time..My mom worked and a single parent so i'd have to take care of my little sister..We are 4 years apart...Well tell you the truth we still yell at each other thats not going to go away because we're both hard heads...n i'm 24 now..Far as hitting is concern just talk to her and tell her that she needs to stop hitting you...Now if it's for a good reason an a$$ whopin is called for but talk to your mom if she really gettin out of hand...But you didn't say why she yells or hits you for...Does she have a good reason too...

I believe in treating people the way I want to be treated!
Perhaps ask your sister when she gets married and has an older husband will it be OK if he hits her!!!?????? " NO,,, NOT!" So why does she think she has any kind of right to hit YOU or ANY ONE, ELSE for that matter!!!!! If she hits the younger child she was babysitting she'd be charged and be doing some kind of jail time!!!!! pehaps she needs help if her anger is out of control!!!!!
It's probably not you personally that she angry with but she's taking it out on you.... there is help out there if she's having problems with dealing with life's issues. That's what older siblings are for!! I am an older sister myself and when I was younger I would bully on my little sister, but as you should know, teenagers can be mean and ruthless. She'll grow out of it. I am 24 now and feel bad for the things I did to my sister as a child. But I always protected her from others. She knew I loved her, we just had a dysfunctional family. Its part of life. Try talking to your sister or your parents on a serious level about it if it bothers you that bad.

its not right at all 2 hit or yell u can yell at certain times but if you have passed the age of 7 then you its ok but you should tell someone before it gets out of hand before one of u get hurt and cant forgive each other for what happened.

But seriously...I had big sisters and big brothers and they all messed with me all my life..finally I got sick of it..kicked all their a$$es at some point and then there was new respect there. I see it with my own kids too..if only the younger ones would stand up to the older ones one or two good times, the older ones would learn.

So if she yells at you..just walkaway ..like *Whatever*.... I wouldn't even bother saying anything..just walk away. Now if she hits you..go postal on her....you're going to have to stand up to her sooner or later.

Do not hit her back if you do so, there will be no difference between you.
talk to her or write her a letter and explain her that you love her and it hurts when she treats you bad, remind her that you are not going to be this close forever and one day you will miss each other.
if you behave mature she has to change her way to behave , but if hit back she will hit again and again...
and if that did not work ask your parents help
