She and my bro are going to Indianapolis--3 hrs away. I really don't want to go, but she really wants me to. I could go to my cousin/friends house. The reason they are going is because my bro has a dr. appointment. Should i go?

It sounds to me as if this doctor appointment is kind of serious, given the fact that he has to travel so far. If it were a regular appointment he could go to a local doctor. You should go because if it is serious then your Mom and brother would want and NEED you with them. How would you feel if you didn't go and they came back and told you he had a serious condition?

Well I know it's not that much fun being in a car withyour mom and your bro, but it is a good time for some family time and years from now you'll wish you had those times back. I have to many of those kind of memories, the one I wish I could do over, so please go and try to make it a good day. Some where down the line in your life you'll be glad you did.

Well besides the doctors appointment are you as a family going to be doing anything else that day?
Perhaps if something fun was planned for after the appointment you could go and make it a family day.
ask her that!!!!!

If it makes your Mom happy you should go.She'll appreciate the time you spend together. You only have a Mother once so take advantage of all the times you can spend with her.

But of course, first of all you live under her roof and second take some music with you or even a magazine to kill time.

Who cares this is not the type of question to ask on Yahoo Answers. You should consult your magic eight ball.

If she really wants you to go, it would be nice of you. I'm sure there have been plenty of times when she has done things she may not have wanted to do for you.

I think you should. It sounds like your mom needs the emotional support. Maybe the two of you can do a bit of school clothing shopping????;)

The question you have to ask yourself is will you regret not going? Will it effect the relationship you have with your brother and mother?

No. It sounds like a boring trip. It seems like she would understand you not wanting to go.
