take away his computer. ground him. monitor him. put his computer in a family area. block those types of sites.
teach him to not be a pervert. no offense.
thats what they had to do to my distant cousin at least.

pick your battles... no need to yell about everything. otherwise they won't listen. whatever you want to yell about make sure you have a good reason to. i wouldnt make a big deal out of it... a 16 yr old boy with porn isnt such a bad thing, i would personally rather him look at that then the real thing and get the girl pregnant! if you are understanding then he will stop on his own time.

You should discuss your son regarding sex and women rather than taking steps to bar him from accessing any kind of pornography. Doing the latter will only inspire him to search for pornography (or worse, experience sex) in other areas. Tell him the pros and cons about sex and encourage him that if he desires to engage it, he should do so when he's come of age for the reason that his maturity would allow him to be more responsible when attempting to have sex and lessening the chance of getting into major problems, such as unwanted pregancy and STD. Once he has reached an understand, you may take steps to bar him from accessing to any more pornography.

Though it is every mothers concern to protect her babies..they do grow, and mature...now your son being 16 he is changing in so many ways...he is curious, and felt comfortable enough to head online for some answers...as long as he isn't hurt anyone i would say let him explore, because the more you tell him no the more he will want to do it...

I think its normal .....he is just curious. I do not think it's good for him to see though. Take it away and use it as an opportunity to tell him what you think about that kind of stuff. I wouldn't say to him that sex is wrong or bad, though.......just explain that porn is not the "norm" of relationships.
It's only a problem if he is addicted to it and since he's a teenager, he's probably just curious. Sex is taboo in our society
unfortunatley......so that he probably doesn't know enough about it. Of course he's curious.
Get him a book that teaches it the right way.

You have to mind your own business. Kids values are instilled from birth to six years old. If you have taught them well, then you shouldn't concern yourself with their choice.
You can, however, view your own opinion on porn...but you canNOT telll him what to do when he is making his own choices.
What would you do if you were sixteen and your parent told you what not to do? This is EXACTLY the same.

I was about to say that he's 16 and that it should be fine; he should know the difference. But I noticed the "extreme" part. How extreme is it...?

It all depends how extremeit is. After all your son is 16 so everything which is not illegal should be no problem. Kids grow up faster these days so no worries.

Don't make him feel bad for looking at it or make him feel like a pervert cause that could cause more problems. Just tell him u are open to talking about it if he wants and maybe explain why u dont think he should be looking at it.

You can get some blocks for your computer and also limit his computer time. You could also take the computer out of his room and set it up in the livingroom or someplace where you can see what he's watching.
