I recently have experienced loud brats in the First Class seating of a transatlantic flight, in a five star dining room, and an R-rated film. I have kids, if you can afford a fine dining experience, you can afford a baby-sitter too!

In days of old children were to be seen and not heard. The brats of today are being brought up by the brats of 20 to 30 years ago. If the parents don't know any better, how do you expect the kids to behave. That's what we call social evolution. It will get worse with each generation. Every generation is more tolerant. When people say the 50's were so nice, believe me they were nice.

I have no problem with children being involved in a fine dining experience, however they should be well behaved and closely monitored. First class in the air plane, same conditions. R rated movie, no way.

Socrates, who lived from 470-399 B.C., said, "Children today are tyrants. They contradict their parents, gobble their food, and tyrannize their teachers." Each generation wonders the same thing as he did. The sad thing is that there will ALWAYS be parents who think they are being "cool" by allowing their children to watch violence and sex on the big screen, and be allowed to belittle them and all adults. All we can do is raise our own children in another manner. After all, the only thing wrong with the kids nowadays, are their PARENTS.

I manage a grocery store and constantly have problems with youth. They have no respect and think they are untouchable. I have gotten many phone calls from mothers pissed because I harassed her kids when in fact they are causing problems for customers. Youth behavior is a direct result of parenting and the parents are just as bad as the kids. Oh well, hopefully my kids stay away from the bad seeds, and yours too.

Well they need to be spanked and disciplined at home. This get in the corner crap is crap. I got spanked I never got in trouble at school or acted horrible in public. Thats the problem the Bible say spare the rod spoil the child. That's what the problem is.

being a baby boomer, some of us didn't have much while growing up. When we got old enough to have kids, we wanted to make things better for them than the way it was for us. So we ended up making it so good for them that we actually ruined the kids. Now we have people who never learned respect for themselves or anyone else trying to raise their kids and attempting to teach things that they themselves never learned or understood.

that's because many think that they can just bring the kids to the world and dump on their fellow citizens!! I think government should start reversing the procedure by taxing those who have children!!

Some people like kids and like to do things as a family.
You were a kid once yourself, and even if you were a perfect child I bet you embarrassed your parents once or twice.

If you don't like it then don't go to those places. Go to places that don't allow kids.
