ok so i live in a very very small house. my mom wants to move really bad and so does my my brother and me but my dad doesnt want to because he thinks that somethng might happen to him and then my mom would be stuck with all those bills of the new house. she doesnt work so she would have to get a job. but none of us are happy in this tiny house. the kitchen floor is coming apart, the bathroom is horrible and we dont even have tile floor! its like concrete or something. we really wanna move and we can afford it, my mom told me. and plus i saw the checkbook. (we can so afford it!) so does anyone have any advice on how i can convince my dad to move. nothing will happen to him, he's only 40 something. we all really want to move please help! my mom is miserable in this crappy house! any advice? please!!?

My brother is a real pain in the a**. One minute he wants me to come and watch TV with him then the next minute I am in my room while he is throwing stuff at my door and constantly beating on the door. He is always lying to my mom about the stuff I do. I try to tell him if all he wants is for me to spend time with all he has to do is ask. He does and I do try to spend time with him. He told me that he likes it when i do spend time with him. So why is it that every time I leave he has to throw a fit like a little 2 year old. Another example is we don't have a seperate line for the internet so he wanted to call EB Games but he didn't want to use the cell phone(which was in our moms room upstairs) so then he starts throwing his stuff at me.
Please give me any advice you can to help me deal with him.

This is for a research project so please reply with candor and honesty and please be serious. This si a seriuous matter. Many parents do not communicate with their teens. If this was the only question you copuld ask what would it be.

I recently found out that my in-law's talk to my husband's ex-wife on a regular basis. My husband did have 2 children with this woman. His parents talk to me less than they do my husband. His grandmother is the same. She actually talks to the ex more than his parents do. His grandmother sends christmas and birthday gifts to her 7 month old baby. How should I feel?

Nowadays my younger brother (18) and I mostly have verbal fights and spats, but there are still times when we just have to pound each other.

That's right folks. I just found out because I am at my mom's house and he just drove up. They are now outside talking cutting the deal and I am so mad I do not know what to do. Smoke is coming out of my ears and I don't know if I should go out side and just go crazy on the whole gang of them or just leave. Or maybe I am being immature and silly and I should just understand that out of all of the thousands of friggin gardners in the area, my parents should chose this CREEP. Talk to me people. I need help.

I am in a very difficult situation. My sister-in-law died in child birth. My brother asked us to take the baby and adopt him and raise him as are own. We took Dalton home from the hospital, we named him. We even waited 2 years to legally adopt him, to make sure that it was really what my brother wanted. That was 8 Years ago. Dalton has known since he was 5 that he is adopted and who his biological mother and father are. We also let my sister in laws parents to be completely involved in his life. Now My problem. My brother married a lady last month that he met over the internet. They have only known each other for 3 months. She can not have children. So he has advised us he wants (HIS SON BACK). I contacted our attorney and he said there is no legal way my brother could get Dalton back. But we are affraid of the emotional strain it will put on everyone. especially Dalton. We aso decided not to have any more kids because we had 2. What Can We Do for the good of everyone.

All he does is sit here all day, staring at the television, he'll stop and eat or go sleep, but other than that it's always the television, he won't let me watch anything unless there is nothing on that he wants to watch, he has a power chair and a walker but he'll only use them if he goes to buy more of his cigars, that's about it, does anyone know how to convince him to leave the apartment more often and stop watching tv?

Ok, here's the deal. My twin sis and I were adopted together and now that we are going to turn 18 soon, the adoption records will open. My sister wants to finds our birthmother imediately, but I want to wait. We were originally put up for adoption because of our abusive father and neglecting mother. That's why I'm not jumping at the chane for finding her. Unfortunately, since my sister wants to find her immediatly, by law I can't stop her. I am starting to panic because I only have less than five months. Any suggestions?

How do I keep my kids from taking off everynight? I teach them to stay at home when I am at work and when I get back they are always sleeping on the front porch. I lock the doors before I go, and they always close it without the keys. They are 5 and 6 years old so I cant trust them with the keys.

I cant afford a babysitter

My mother is 49 years old. She scoffs at the thought of being old.

She scowls at me and says she is too young to be a grandmother. She says she doesn't look like a grandmother either. (Trust me she looks her age! And acts like she is 80!)

She is not married and hasn't had a date in 8 years, but when I see her she talks about how she is going to meet a guy and get married but its hard for her to find a guy since she is too good for all the men she has met.

She tries to hang out with her friend's children who are in their 20's like me and she will actually call me to talk about their lives. I don't even know these people!

Her friends are grandmas and thats okay with my mom as long as she isn't a grandma.

Is this some kind of mid-life crisis? She thinks she is too young to be a grandmother, but I am 25 and she WILL be a grandmother in the next few years as my wife and I are planning to have a baby.

She doesn't want to accept the idea of being a grandma
