ur not supposed to speed it up,u should go to a doctor and have him/her check u out but walking could mess up ur back and cause the fluid in ur birth canal to drain (it happened to my sister and my neice almost died).

If this is your first child, it isn't unusual to be a little overdue. Our oldest was born almost two weeks late.
They say that walking can bring on labor, but I don't think it really worked for my wife.
Here's a somewhat crazy thought. Are there any preparations for the baby that are not finished? My wife went into labor immediately after we purchased a stroller and assembled the bed. They were the last two things on the list. I think once they were done, she was ready.

YES, but falling down stairs and being in car wrecks is no fun at all... just keep up the walking... but I don't know about the sex... who told you that? the guy you're having sex with?... that can introduce bacteria into you that may not be too good for the baby.

Any obgyn worth his salt will NOT let you go more than a week without inducing you. When your due date was predicted did they tell you about a 2 week leeway either way? You could go within 2 weeks of your due date, either earlier or later. I delivered 5 days early yet my son was a week late. He just overcooked. It'll happen. Good luck!

Walk, walk, and walk some more. Sex helps too as long as it isn't painful. Hope you have a healthy and uncomplicated delivery.
