I've heard that is good to have them before your body gets back completly to normal, and that way, after you are finished you can finally get your body back to normal...instead of doing it over and over,,,in the long run, i'veheard....it's supposed to be healthier

I personally think that children really want their mother's undivided attention until they are about 3. At that point they start to want to do things on their own more. I think that is the perfect time to have a second child - and so I did. My oldest just turned 6 and the "baby" turns 3 end of september.
The 2s can be very clingy and want a lot of picking up too - way hard to do in the last months of pregnancy and then the baby arrives and is all the more considered the source of the first childs unhappiness. In our case my 1st was getting tired of being held right at her 3rd birthday, so the last 5 months of pregnancy I didn't have to carry her and I couldn't - so it worked out very well.
I strongly recommend it. I have had friends who had their 2nd just as the first turned 2 and it was a lot of hard work as the older child appeared to have behavioral problems that were mostly just due to "not ready to share mommy yet", in my opinion.
Peace and blessings on you and yours!

You might want to wait at least until the huge gash wound from where the placenta was, heals.
I'd say wait until your first one is 5...then you won't miss all the milestone busy with the new baby. 5 years apart is still close enough for them to feel like they grew up together, but far enough apart of keep the rivalry to a minimum.

My children are 2 years apart. They seem to get along great and they grew up together without me pulling my hair out having 2 in diapers at the same time. Two years apart worked out well for me.

Let your body recover some, at least 1 1/2 years inbetween pregnancy. That way you can breast feed ( if you are) and next pregnancy your other one will be 2 1/2....

Take it easy! First enjoy your beautiful and lovely baby. Wait at least 2 years to have another.

4 years apart! Give you body time to heal and get your baby out of diapers first! Then decide if you can afford another one.

2 years girl, give your body a chance to recuperate,a chance to make sure you dont get the babyblues, and to make sure thats what you want, its alot of work, 2 babies so close together, and time consumming, enjoy your time with the one you have, show your baby extra love and affection, that you wouldnt be able to do as much with 2 babies, take your time, enjoy

~If you are married and your husband is supporting you, talk to him about it. It's usually best to wait at least one year.
If you are on welfare, please don't have any more. My taxes, which would be supporting you and your child, are making me poor.
