I'm 13 and Live with my Father and my Step-Mother. I am not aloud to see or talk to my Real Mother unless Under Supervised Visitatation. Latlely I've been thinking of my Mom and want to talk to her. I have a counselor, but I feel unconfortable talking to her sometimes because she talks to my Step-mom too. I don't know what to do because I want to see my Mom but don't know who to go to. If I go to my Parents, they seem Angry and that makes me feel bad and makes me not wanna finish asking them. If I talk to my Counselor, I'm not sure if she'll do anything about it. (By the way: I don't usually want to see my Mom since I hate her newer Husband and she is just stupid. Not mental Retardation stupid. Just Stupid lol. Stupid decisions.) Thanks for your help. I appreciate it. And sorry If my Question is a little harder to understand.

My pair of eyeglasses is more than 5 years old, the lenses are are all scratched and the color of the frames is wearing off. I know it's time to get a new pair-if only my mom would agree!
I'm getting some birthday money soon (maybe I should use that).
Any advice?

i am 8 months pregnant and i do not want house guests. my parents planned a trip to stay here with me without asking us first. we just moved in 2 weeks ago and have no furniture. i told them we they would be more comfortable in a hotel. then they said they are not coming now. today, they inform me that they are coming on a certain date when i am taking classes. this is the 2nd time they are planning to come over uninvited. also, we are renting a house from them, but i am married and an adult.

i feel i should stand up for myself. also, they were abusive to me growing up and we do not get along at all in close quarters.

I have a nine yr old son that just turn 9 a few days ago and it's seems to me everytime he's told to something that he knows he's supposed to do he gets an attitude with who evers telling him what to do. And a for me I wasn't raised to catch an attitude with my parents when I was told something and not be punished. Im not trying to raise him the same way that I was raised but I do want him to know he has to respect people in order to get respect.

Ok, me and my mom were going through some old stuff and found two things....a gold bracelet given to my great uncle by his wife and my cousins highschool ring. My dad had stolen these things years ago (he was a druggie and alcoholic) but passed away about 2 years ago.
Now, here's the thing...the bracelet that was given to my great uncle Lonnie (he is now dead also) by his wife Patsy, and the ring is their son Mark. Everyone got along with my uncle Lonnie and I loved him very much but his wife and son not so much. They are very wierd and rude and snobby and nobody in our family has ever got along with them (it was such a mismatched couple).

Anyway, what I'm getting to is should I give the ring and bracelet back to them? They would probably just get mad and not be grateful that there stuff was finally returned. And I also don't want to dishonor my father anymore than I have to. This is tearing me up inside. I want to do the right thing but I don't know what to do. Help please!

My youngest sister has been living with me & my husband for 2 years. It has been a long road & very destructive in our relationship. Whenever my sister does something stupid, it hurts me and my husband. Last night my 18 year sister came in at 2pm when was suppose to be in at 10am (because she is taking summer classes). This is not the only time she has done. She does other things that she isn't suppose to do. Anyway, my husband got very upset and decided that we need to send her back to the midwest without consulting me. I totally agree with him, however, I do not agree with how he handled the situation. He called her out her name several times and put me in a situation where I had to choose between him or my sister. I understand his frustration, however, I totally do not agree with him being disrespectful towards my sister or me. I believe as an adult he could have handled that situation better. I want to leave him now for his behavior. Who is in the wrong & what should I do?

He says he is not gay and he really loves my sister. He just likes to mess around with guys occasionally. It would be completely "no strings attached". At first I was offended but then I thought. Hey, maybe this could be a regular thing. Sneaking out during family gatherings to make a store run and getting buzy on the sly and then coming back to the gathering with our own little secret. It's all so very hot and twisted. What do you think?

I and my wife are in a hard spot her parents and grandparents who once hated me and would not allow me into thier home or busniess, wouldn't even come to our wedding becuase of racial difference now want to be apart of our lives. My in-laws have a racialist view meaning race has rank. They felt they had a personal right to praticing racial discrimination with their busniess even though i could of had their deli closed. They felt that they were tring to protect there adult daughters quality of life. Thats when a bridge was burned. 2 years later we are married bought our home and had our first child this month and the inlaws are calling asking to come over like everything is ok and we should trust them. We both don't trust them and feel repeled by them. But at the same time we can't hate them for wanting love and see our child. We have certain standards for people to be in our life and even higher standards to be in our childs life. Are we being spitful in feeling this way.

If you have a sister that demands your attention and help which prevents you from doing what you like to do. For instance, she bothers you whenever you talk on the phone with your friends or you always have to take care of her which prevents you from going out with your friends. She always cause your parents to prevent you from doing what you want to do. On the other hand, you never do the same to her, like cause your parents to prevent her from doing what she wants to. She never have to do anything for you or care about you. That is not fair. She never admit that she has prevent you from a lot of stuff. What a shame? Why do sisters do that? Would you hate that kind of a sister? Your family members may say "you are lucky to have a sister that demands you. It is better to be important than to be useless, but I disagree. I would rather be useless to my siblings. Would you?

She is my daughter. Her birthday was on the 13th and I haven't seen her since she was 2. I believe she's lived in Lorain, Ohio all that time. I'm NOT trying to contact her. I want to know about who she is. I'm asking anyone who has met her at any time in the last 13 years to respond. I would treasure even the smallest bit of information or most casual stories from anytime in the past.
