Parents always think they're right. No matter what it is. They believe they're more wiser because they've been through situations that you haven't been through or dealt with.
I find it annoying and frustrating when I confront them, they automatically make something up to cover up their stupidity. The person that annoys me most is my mother-in-law. We're the same ethnic, but we're not from the same town. My family has another way to handle things and since I'm not her biological child, so she should back off.

A lot of people have superiority problems, Like my dad, I couldn't do anything right, everything I did he criticized and no matter how hard I tried I just couldn't get it right. Perhaps they don't want you to feel equal to them and if they let you know you might be right they think you might think you're an equal.

They have a lot more experience than you and think they know better than you. It's usually true. Just remember to treat your own children better than they treat you.
