Family - June 2006

Whenever she is angry or in a bad mood, she always takes out her angry my kicking my knees and stepping on my toes. My legs are covered in bruses and my feet are always in pain, so what can I do? I have tryed talking to her and i always get the usual "I'm sorry honey, i didn't mean to. I'm horrible i know. I swear i will never do it again...blah blah" and she never means it. So How do I make her stop? Kick her back? I would but my morals say that violence doesn't solve anything. Please Help.

He's had this same lame metal CD on repete really loud for hours and he's in the guest room with the door locked and when I tell him to stop being weird and unlock the door he tells me to stop being a baby and go to bed.
M parents said for him to watch me and that I could stay up as long as I like. What should I do?

I have a 4 year old son. My husband and I have been married for almost a year. My son's real "father" has never seen him, has said on a couple of occasions that he wants to be in my sons life but has never made any steps at it. I have not seen him since I was pregnant. He is not on the birth certificate and has not ties to my son what so ever. My husband and my sons "daddy" loves him to death and looks at him as his son. We have been together since my son was born so it is the only father he as ever known. Basically what I want to know is: my husband wants to adopt my son. Does his real father have any rights?? How would we go about the process? How much will it cost? And any other info you could help me with. Also I live in New York, I know that laws vary state to state slighty if that helps any. I have called a few lawyers and even the court house and have gotten barely no anwsers. Hopefully someone has been in this position that can help me out. Thanks!!

my sister had a baby when she was 17. My parents accepted their granddaughter with open hearts and love. They took care of her ever since she was born. they told my sister to go to school and they would pay for education. however, my sister took advantage of this and started going to full-time jobs just so she could have money to buy things for herself and rarely bought things for the baby. my parents have grown attached to the baby as they take care of her more then the mom does. my mom wants to adopt my niece. do you think she should? but my sister won't allow it. do you think its selfish of her considering she hardly takes care of her and wants to take her away from my parents someday?

We respect her but she's just too much. She talks non-stop throughout the day. Not only she nags, she criticizes, insult others and more others you'll never expect to hear from her.. what can i do? my ears hurt! It's stressing!

i could be cooking and he will stop me from cooking just to change her diaper.Most of the time i understand cause he doesnt like to see her private parts. But we also have a 3yr.old and i dont mind changing him. I just get really frustrated when i'm doing something and he cant just change her.

I'm 18 years old going to college and have a drivers licence. I curently live w/my mom and brother (who is going on 21, but we wont go there). They really really drive me insane, what should I do stay and try not to blow my top (getting more difficult by the min) or leave, try to stike out on my own. I curently have a steady income so that's not a problem.

I was wondering if this would be considered mail fraud. My mother is using my address and phone number for mailings and other items. She has never lived in this state, nor have I ever gave her permission to use my address or phone number. Is there anything that I can do? This can't be legal, even if she is my mother. Help!!!
