Some men are really uncomfortable changing a female babies diaper. Really, I think that is understandable when you consider what all is involved with cleaning a little girls dirty diapers. I know women and men both that are uncomfortable changing little girl's dirty diapers. They have a lot more cracks and crevices that need to be cleaned. I suggest that you try to strike a deal with him to change wet ones while you will change the dirty ones.

it is his daughter he should have no problem changing her i can see a problem with washing her privite parts when she is like 3 but not changing a lowsey diaper. i would ask him what is the problem. he could have some emotional issues from a child? If he does not change her after you asking him then i would try to find out what the real problem is.

Have you ever ask him why he wont change her ?? if not ask and then go from there..... it could be like you said, because the baby is a girl..... reassure him and help him know that has a father it is ok and that you trust him...... then maybe go shopping for an hr or 2 so he has to face the issue on his own... and then when you return praise him for a job well done...... God bless

Tell Daddy is he can make em... he can change them.

He needs to grow up if he is thinking about seeing his daughter's private parts. He's just being lazy and giving you a lame excuse. Say fine, I change baby girl, you potty train baby boy. See how fast he starts changing baby girl.

Honey, have confidence me, he will replace diapers...he will haven't any decision. Many men say that yet then while they ought to do it, they do exactly....Your unlikely to constantly be there and he wont permit his toddler take a seat in a grimy diaper till you get domicile...And if he could, i could definately think again the realtionship....

I think he should help change them, unfortunately it is impossible to make a grown person do anything they don't want to. You can't physically force him is what I am trying to say.

I am not sure it is normal for him to be worried about seeing his infant daughter's private parts. You might need to talk to someone about that. He might be just using that as an excuse though.

Poor you! And i mean that sincerely. I have a 4 month old and my husband is a tremendous help when i need an extra set of hands! I can just imagine your frustration.
I don't know what to tell you if your husband simply refuses. I know my husband has told me that if our baby was a girl he thinks he'd be really afraid of hurting her inadvertently if he cleaned her. Maybe your husband's worried about the same thing.

Good luck and God bless!

He doesn't want to see his daughter private parts, that's crazy she comes from him. It's a part of being a parent. Leave them alone for a few hours, he won't have a choice.

WELL THAT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE TO ME BECAUSE A BABY NEEDS ATTENTION WHETHER IT'S A BOY OR A GIRL. SO LET HIM KNOW NOT TO BE SO NARROW MINDED & TAKE CARE OF THE DAMN KID. DID HE CHANGE YOUR SON'S DIAPERS? TELL HIM IT'S NATURAL AND TO QUIT BEING A "BABY". SHE IS AN INFANT NOW, WHAT IS HE GOING TO DO WHEN SHE HITS PUBERTY?GOODLUCK & SHOW HIM HOW TO HANDLE IT LIKE A MAN!!!!
