I was wondering if this would be considered mail fraud. My mother is using my address and phone number for mailings and other items. She has never lived in this state, nor have I ever gave her permission to use my address or phone number. Is there anything that I can do? This can't be legal, even if she is my mother. Help!!!

Then how would I get people to stop calling for her?

Do I turn her into the police here or in the state that she lives?

Do you know WHY your mother is doing this?????
If this makes you feel uncomfortable. tell you mom that this makes you unconfortable and it needs to stop. Who knows, you could get in trouble too with whatever she is doing.
I have a feeling that your mother won't stop. You will need to be the adult here. When mail comes, write on it.....no one at this address, return to sender. If this drives you crazy you can go to the post office and get a form and fill it out saying that she has a change of address. As far as the phone calls, if you can't afford to change your phone number, then if someone calls tell them that they have the wrong number and hang up. It your mother is mad over this......then she has chosen to act like a child. I am proud of you for being a grownup! No need to turn her in for anything, yet also no need for her to abuse your personal space. Karma will catch up to her. Meanwhile you block the mail and phone. She will have to find another person and place to USE.
Hopefully she will grow up soon

I suggest this reverse phone lookup service: http://reversephone.toptips.org

It's a cheap service that works great!
It could be used for a much deeper search. You can use it to get hold of different varieties of background reports, and in addition cell numbers, addresses and names..
you can get unlimited reports... I ran with this because I required to verify more numbers. You can get the name, other phone number, address history, relatives, and much more about anyone!
The completly free reverse phone lookup generally doesn't provide anything interesting. To get interesting information, money will must be paid. The free searches don't provide considerably more than what may be found through the phone directory.
The reverse phone detective search tool does work, but you should use just the service that I posted above. The last thing you want to do, is pay for a service and find the numbers you want to lookup are not available in their directory.
The service that I reccomend doesn't have any kind of problem , you won't get any bad surprise!

First off..#1 don't accept or forward her mail. simply write on the envelope....RETURN TO SENDER ADDRESSEE UNKNOWN
#2 Notify the post office
#3 Change your telephone number to an unlisted one
If you choose not to change your ### tell the person calling that no one by that name lives there and give them your MOM's telephone number and address. (it's obvious to me your MOM is hiding from creditors) Help the creditor out by sniching on your MOM!!!

First thing to do is change your phone number and don't give it to your mother. Then follow the return to sender thing you've already been advised on.

Well ask her why she doing this? And if you don't like it tell her that and tell her to please not do it again. Don't go jumping the gun trying to get your Mom lock up. Find out why she doing it and tell her how you feel about no need for the law god don't like ugly.

the easiest way to get rid of it would be to slap return to sender on everything and fill out a change of address card from your address to hers in her name
