Well it is human nature to take things for granted.Sometimes its easier to put off what you couldve done today til tomorrow. I felt the same way when my mom passed. It took me 4 yrs to get over the guilt and I have never stopped missing her.I cannot say time will make it better; you are going to have to make it better. On a more possitive note I am sure your grandma loved you with all of her heart and I am sure she knew you loved her as well.........dont dwell on the past make the best of today, she is still with you.

well life is what you make of it, you should have taken the time for her. However you can not take it back. That is why you are missing her, just went through it with my father. So I know what you mean,.its really hard. Some how, you have to find it in your heart to forgive yourself. Go to her grave site if you can and talk to her, tell her you are sorry and you wished you would have spent more time with her. You know how I for gave myself?
I go to my dads grave as much as I can. Even though he beat me as a child and I lived a bad life, he is still my father.
It will all come out in the wash, ask God to help take the burden off of you as well.
Take Care & God Bless.
Rach

I don't know why that is...it's like the saying You don't know what you've got til it's gone. I understand the feelings you have because when my cousin died I felt guilty about not calling or seeing her more. But feeling guilty and blaming yourself isn't going to help. You need to know that your grandma loved you very much and she knew you loved her too. You need to release the blame from yourself. If you're a spiritual person, pray about this. If not, then just know that your grandma knows how much she meant and still means to you and know that you don't need to feel bad anymore.

Am sorry about the death of your Grandma.......well it so happens that we are more concerned by our daily affair's or making money, that the people dat matter most to us....are the least thing we think about. But am sure in your heart she was one of the best thing dat has ever happened to you. Dont you worry she died knowing she has your love even if you weren't there all the time.

well buddy v both share the same feeling even i lost my grandma sm time back n it kills to evn think that shez not wid me nemore n never will.
Its really painful that v were not dere for a person who needed our love and affection when alive n now when that person is no more u feel like a culprit.
its absolutely human, we dont realize the value of a person when he/shez is near to us, n when he/ shez gone v regret r behavior.

If Grandma was so great, you would have spent more time with her. Chances are she was a boring old lady of little interest to you. So don't feel bad, it was her fault.
