develop a plan.
Start a savings plan- save a percentage of your paycheck every week and DONT use the money. Save it for a security deposit.
Open up ONE and only one credit card- buy little things that you'd normally pay cash for (movies or gas or special treats) and make sure you pay the bills ON TIME in order to build credit (A TIP: budget your money and deduct what you spent on your credit card from your checking on paper, so when you go to pay the bill you'll have enough money.)
good luck. determination is half the battle.

If you're going to college, it might be an idea to ask the college for people who need a room mate. Or look in the paper.
One problem Could be finding someone who seems cool but would try to bleed you dry. And even your friends might be willing to depend on you.
Sometimes it is live and learn. After all, you are the one who has to live with the consequences, whether you hurt someones feelings, end up broke or if everything goes well because you have a good idea of what you're doing and use a little caution.

try getting a dorm room. It will be on your own but not to expensive or get a place with room mates. (check them out first and make sure you are compatible). If you are in college now no reason to stay at home if you want to move out and can afford it. But it is really expensive to be on your own (rent, gas, electric, water, garbage, vehicle or transportation, food, entertainment, medical, etc.) so make sure you will be alright financially.

There appears to be a lot of tension in the air.
Moving out will only create problems, try to be more confident, in any judgement you might consider when contemplating the next step...

i always feel living at home is for the best, but if its really effecting your life and your study then maybe its best to move out. if you cant sort out your differences then it could be best solution all round.
