Family - June 2006

Oh, Lord.. please provide me with strength, understanding and contentment.. for today, I am the devils target. I have not now nor ever disgraced or disserned you. I pray for your forgiveness and blessings.
I am really, really struggling today.... I am a single mother of 2 children, work 40hrs a wk, M-F, $12.00/hr. & I still cannot get ahead. I just don't know what do forreal. I am so discouraged right now. . . . I have to choose between paying my phone bill & buying food for my kids, choose between paying daycare (so I can work) or paying my carpymt (so I can get to work)..

Can someone PLEASE....tell me how to work this out? How to stay positive, how not to get discourged and go off the deep end.

2paychecks per mo, $652ea.... totaling $1304 income coming in. Rent $464, daycare $270, car pymt $286, light/gas $68avg, phone $55.. then I have $161 to put gas in my car and food on my table for me, my 2 children.. for a month!

Please help me.

He is a staight A student and is on summer break. I trust him and let him use my user account, that is why I let him use my computer without parental controls, but I'm having second doubts about this. By the way he is 16 yrs old and turning 17 in August.

He gets very angry at me when I try to take his computer priviliges away. I am confused as to what I should do?

Well i have a 12 1/2 year old daughter who has big breast,and a big butt and she is really cute.Her younger sisters tells me things like boys be up in her face,and she be acting different when i'm not around:her language etc,should i be worried about her or is this just pree-tee stuff?I know she is ot active yet.

Does anyone out there know how to cope with the lose of 2 children and your husband? My two year old twins, Annika and EvaLyn, both died in the same fire that killed their father. I just met with an adopted kid that's going to college. The adopted parents make lots of money, but won't help her out. They want her to work 40 hours/week (at a low-pay job) AND go to school full-time. I know that's a bad combination that ususally leads to dropping out because of being to tired to earn better grades.

my son is 13 yrs old,we both share a very good bond.From him,i came to know that a girl in her class likes him a lot &considers him as his boyfriend!!.the girl is also his age,she keeps on calling at home,send sms on the mobile mentioning that she likes him.my son also likes her but tells that the girl is much more interested in him.his friends are leg pulling him.the girl has told everyone that she is my son's girlfriend.i am very confused,should i give my son her phone calls and let them talk or should i not allow my son to talk or should i talk to the girl,as both of them are very young,i dont know what would be the best way to make my son understand that he is too young for all this without scolding him?plz suggest.i dont want to act like a cool mom &enjoy the whole episode.

He will be having surgery on Tues. that will hopefully get him walking, anyway he will have leg casts on for 1 month. What is the best way to explain this to him so that he'll understand. Communication can be tough with him sometimes. Also what are good activities I can do with him this summer while he's casted??

My adult daughter and her 3 1/2 yr old has lived with me for 4 yrs. I know it is not my place to bath, feed, wash clothes and entertain my granddaughter. At least, not all the time. But, if I don't, none of the above will get done. I tried asking for my daughters help and she is either sick or tells me she will do it in a minute, but she never gets around to it. I have tried telling her to do it. Nothing. I have tried not doing it at all, but after 1 week of no baths and dirty clothes, I broke down and did it . It's summer time for heaven sake. She stinks.... I know I shouldn't but I feel like I am neglecting my granddaughter if I don't do these things for her...What can I do? Please, I need some advise. (Telling her to shape up or leave is not an option. I would never do that to that my granddaughter....)
