Try:
* Family Search: http://www.familysearch.org/
* Roots Web: http://www.rootsweb.com/
* Ancestry.com: http://www.ancestry.com/?rnd=6%2bmYVxPtwb1%2b9oeYF1xp

There are a bunch listed under the Genealogy in the Yahoo directory: http://dir.yahoo.com/Arts/Humanities/History/Genealogy/

Ancestry. com is a really good starting point but will only go so far. You 'll need to find out their names and families. Normally you can go to the cities that they were born or died in and find pertinent information like dates of birth, death, weddings etc. (Phone calls normally work fine for that). It'll take some work but its normally possible.

You look up to them with respect and love! It's not there's a way to look up to them, as long as you acknowledge them, it's great.
And be happy for who you are, of course.
